Broke second time!
I really wanted to like this beast. I do a lot of trail work and, tho this is a heavy, first time out was in an area we're reclaiming as field. Dragging it along the ground collected brush and debris from bayberry and other shrubs removed by others. Next day, back at that same site, the handle broke where the top section threads into the bottom section. Just by dragging it! That threaded coupling must be incredibly weak! I'd send it back but really want to use this to clean the brush so I removed the t-handle from the section that broke, put a hardwood plug into the what was then the top section, slid the t-handle over that, drilled holes for the set-screws and there's just enough length to make this thing still work. SOOOO disappointed and can't even recoup my investment. Hope the shorter handled work-around works long enough to eek out some value.

I recommend it.
It seems they fixed any quality control issues per negative reviews in the past. This rake is heavy duty. It weighs a lot but what you want to pull back small brush and twigs. The rake comes with a few screw in handles for shipping. I recommend using some glue so they don’t loosen. I am happy I purchased. I mainly use it to pull leaves and grass clippings out of my Agri-Fab mow and vac. There is nothing that works better to do this.

Not for Pine Needles on Rocky Soil
This is a heavy rake! I'm a 190 lb male of above average fitness (bench my body weight) and have found this rake to be of limited use in the rocky soil at our mountain cabin because the tines have no give in them. This turns raking into excavating whenever I try to use it to rake pine needles. This rake may have applications, but for pine needles on rocky soil you need a rake that has tines that have some spring in them.

Sturdy but threads come loose from time to time
I received it in the mail the other day and I guess I didn’t read the details too well. I didn’t realize it came in 3 pieces. Which is fine. I bought it to use in my burn pit which it works well in. The only thing is the inserts that go into the threaded pipe will come loose over time, they’re straigh and not tapered. So as a fix I’ll probably just add a bit off locktite on the threads to deal with that. Other than that great product so far.

Needs some reworking to make the shaft and handle work right.
This is a sturdy unit and it is ideal for my work. However, the three-part shaft creates a couple of annoying problems.First, the three part shaft screws together very easily, but it also unscrews very easily. I have to screw things back tight every few minutes. I probably will have to put some JB Weld on the threads to make a stable shaft.Second, the handle does not line up with the rake head. This is a design problem or possibly a quality control issue. I will have to remove the plastic handle, orient it properly, mark the points where the bolt holes through the pipe ought to have been drilled, drill new holes, etc.

For the big jobs
I just got this rake in a couple of days ago and have used it rake hay, bark, and manure. This will be a go to tool. Very heavy duty and heavy. This will be doing the jobs that a regular rake or pitch fork just weren't able to do. I don't think this would be good for raking up shrub trimmings or other light duty clean up's but for what its intended for it's the bomb.

Second picture is of connection that simply fell apart!!Too late to return it for me. Don't waste your money!!!!!
