Napoli - Stuffed Hot Cherry Peppers with Prosciutto & Aged Provolone

The peppers themselves are nice and crisp, which I love. Sometimes cherry peppers end up a little mushy, and the skin a bit like unchewable plastic, but the texture with these is perfect. No complaints there.They’re a touch spicy, which is nice.My issue is with the cheese. It seems much more like feta than provolone, and it crumbles into a mealy, unappetizing texture in your mouth. Especially when you’re expecting something firmer, like a solid chunk of provolone. The flavor of the cheese is okay—and again seems more like feta—but it’s not what I expected or wanted.The jar is pretty small for the price in my opinion, and there is no “POP” of the lid’s seal when it’s opened.Will have to keep looking for the perfect stuffed peppers, like the ones they used to have in a local deli department.

These are the worst provolone and prosciutto stuffed peppers I have ever had in my life!!!! The red pepper feel apart as I tried to lift them out of the jar. The stuffing was missing any procuitto within the pepper on almost half of the jar; it was all cheese. The peppers were barely hot peppers with no crunch to them. They were terrible!!!!I decided not to send them back because of the hassle to re-wrap, box and send them. I am originally from the New York area and know what these peppers are supposed to taste like. Like everything else in Philadelphia...a bad imitation of something good!!! These peppers were incredible! I have a low tolerance for spicy so I can only eat 1 at a time but they were delicious, very well packed, and I can't wait to order more. I read a review that was not very pleasant, where the reviewer was upset about the "white stuff, I think it was provolone" inside these peppers. Please be aware, these prosciutto and provolone stuffed peppers are indeed.....stuffed with prosciutto and provolone.

The peppers are huge, which was not the problem. Problem was that the cheese was gross. Maybe it was provolone, I don't know. What it was was crumbly, as in powdery. So that, mixed with the oil tasted and felt very off-putting. The tiny bit of prosciutto helped. Sorry guys, I really wanted to like this. But had to throw it away.

We loved the taste and freshness of the stuffed peppers. We love stuffed Hot Cherry Peppers and they are hard to find locally here in SWFL. Soo thrilled to order the Napoli Stuffed Hot Cherry Peppers thru Amazon. The quality was fantastic and priced right!!
