Yes, It Sticks--For About a Year
I wanted something to hold a sponge and metal scrub pad so that they didn't make a mess of the back of my sink, and don't sit in a pool of dirty water. This solved the problem for me. It's large enough to hold those two items, and yes, it does stay stuck to the side of my steel sink (at least so far, after a couple of months). It doesn't rust, it's solid, and I recommend it. Update: After several months of use I'm still happy with this, although I've found that in order to keep the suction cups working well, I have to clean them once in a while. Not a lot to ask. Second update: I've been using this for a year on my stainless steel sink. About once every couple of weeks it slides down. I wash the suction cups and the part of the sink where I want it to stick and it's good for another couple of weeks. The suction cups are definitely flattening, though, and if I can find some reasonably priced replacements I'll get them. Third update: After about a year the suction cups were flat and would no longer stick. I removed them and found two small suction cups with steel hooks at the hardware store and hung the basket on the hooks. Works fine and should be good for at least another year.

Works Great!
This sponge holder is very attractive, made of non rust SS and the suction cups are very strong! I replaced a cheaper holder with this one and I'm very happy with the quality!....

Effective and attractive sponge holder.
I really like the sponge holder. It looks very nice in my sink and holds two sponges and my mini scrub brush. I have a Corian sink and when I first tried to attach it, it kept falling. So I thoroughly dried the suction cups and I thoroughly dried the sink wall. I pressed very firmly and held for five seconds, and it hasn’t fallen since. I would definitely buy again.

Doesn’t rust and will stay on your sink!
This product stays in place and looks great in my sink. It’s not too big or too small and doesn’t get in the way of my dishes. It can fit two sponges. This is my second order as a gift to my mom, but I have been using this product for more than a year now and it does not rust! However, the suction gripper does get dirty and will need to be replaced. I love that this organizes my sponges inside my sink so from the outside you can’t see it.

The Suction cups are useless
From day one right out of the box, the suction cups were useless. It won’t even hold up the holder, let alone the holder with a single sponge in it. I’ve bought many of these over the years. I’ve never had one that didn’t have suction cups that worked. Don’t waste your money on this one.

Looks great, but suction cups are hit or miss
I really wanted to love this iDesign sponge holder and in a lot of ways, it does the job. The matte black finish looks sleek and modern, and it blends in well with the rest of my kitchen setup. The size is just right for holding a couple of sponges and even a small scrub brush. The stainless steel frame feels sturdy, and I appreciate that it’s labeled as rust-resistant — time will tell if that holds up, but so far it hasn’t shown any signs of wear or corrosion, even after constant contact with water. That said, the biggest issue is the suction cups. They’re just not as strong or reliable as I hoped. At first, it stuck well to my stainless steel sink, but after a few days it started sliding down or falling off completely, especially when the holder has anything more than a light sponge inside. I’ve tried cleaning the surface and reattaching it, but the performance is inconsistent. I expected a little more in terms of stability. I ended up having to use extra adhesive hooks to keep it in place, which kind of defeats the purpose of using suction cups in the first place.

Super handy little gadget. Blends with my white sink so it’s not noticeable. Had a few people ask me where to buy it. Sticks well, works well.

The suction cups were warped/creased so it doesn’t stick well to the sink :( it’s a pretty color/design, just wish the suction cups weren’t damanged
