Some excellent locations with images in this book. They're all well written and detailed. If you have mobility issues, distance to the view point from parking area is also documented in minutes etc

I love these series of books, when I’m looking for ideas for a photography trip they are great for inspiration. The aren’t thick or heavy so fit great into your rugsack. When you have a full time job and want to make the most of a short trip you can plan out your locations to maximise your time. The fun is trying to get a better composition and photograph than the ones in the book.

This guide, like all in the series, should be in every photographers bag. A comprehensive list of many of the best places to go with comprehensive directions. Highly recommended.

This is the third book I’ve purchased in this authors series and it’s as good as the others. Purchased for a last minute trip up Northumberland. I only knew I was going 2 days before and it was to be a 2 1/2 day whistle stop tour. The book was very appreciated by my mate. It allowed us to plan out our day each morning, choosing 2 or 3 spots then finding our own in between. I’m sure I’ll carry on buying these and end up with the full set. Hopefully there’s one for mid / north Wales / Snowdonia soon.

Excellent book. I have others in the series and they all give useful information on photography in the specific area. Well worth the investment

I bought this because I’m going on a photography holiday to Northumberland soon. I’m a keen photographer but have limited mobility at the moment so this book was a Godsend. It covered a wide range of locations. The illustrations gave a good idea of the sort of shots each might give. The best time of day to photograph was given and for the coast the best time of tide. Of great importance to me were travel directions and particularly parking. Information was also given on walking from parking to the photography location which made it easy for me to plan which locations were going to be possible. All I need now is the weather and the ability to drag myself out of bed for dawn.
