Pack of 10 High Quality Long Screws for Electrical Socket/Switch M3.5mm x 70mm

For some reason the previous owner of my house seems to have taken great delight on putting the back plates of the lights switches really deep into the walls so these screws were needed to fix new stylish switches or in some rooms smart light dimmers with a thicker profile to replace the old ones. As these were slightly over-sized for some fittings where the back plate was too far for the standard screws so I had the cut one or two down to the right size. They are a good quality and fitted all the standard UK screw holes as expected.

Perfect screws for the job. Due to a strange event of being burgled and the person thinking it funny to remove one screw from most of my sockets in the house I bought these to replace them. They are a tad bit too long/ n in some the head is small. However they are great quality n a good quantity (The one on the right is the new one)

I created a wood slat feature wall and rather than cutting around the lightswitch I ordered these extra long electrical screws so the switch could fit over them. The threads went in nice and easily with no force and created a nice secure fit with no rounding or dents of the tops. The only downside was I only needed two of them and the minimum pack size was 10. Hopefully I can cut them down to use in the future for other projects. For the money though they were not much more than I imagine 2 would cost anyway. Altogether, just right and saved me a lot of hassle.

Great product when granite splash back added to wall original screws where 30mm too short.

They fit fine, but they are just machine screws. I doubt they are correct for light switches and plug sockets - the head size is certainly smaller than any I've ever seen, or replaced.

Tiling over pre-existing tiles resulted in a shaving socket requiring extra length screws. Reasonably priced, prompt delivery and job perfect. The heads seemed a little delicate so care was needed when screwing into a tight fitting.
