Easy to set up, great to use
I bought two light strips (one for bedroom, one for living room) and two extensions. They work beautifully! Works well on HomeKit, just add the accessory and put it ‘in’ the correct room, you can ask Siri (on phone, iPad, Mac or HomePod) to turn on/off/up/down the lights. If it’s a HomePod it knows which light is in the same room so only affects that one unless you say ‘turn off all lights’ or ‘turn on bedroom lights’. On phone it’ll ask which room you’re referring to. In the eve all you can change the speed the lights change - the default is an instant change but you can set it to be quick or moderate which is a bit less jarring. Set up scenes in the Home app and you can have them come ion or go off automatically. Handy if you’re away or, like me, you want to use them as an alarm clock system - mine come on very low (5%) and my HomePods start playing music at a low level. One note - if you put them around a mirror or below a shelf, put them right back against the wall. I stupidly ran them down the middle of the frame instead of the back and it affects how the light bounces off the wall. It’s very tricky to peel up the sticky tape without removing it from the light strips too. All in all I highly recommend. I mostly use these rather than the led spotlights in my flat now, they only go on if I need even more light when cleaning etc.

Occasionally becomes non-responsive
I bought a couple of these LED light strips for my kids bedroom. Generally they perform very well and are pretty bright for light strips. However, I have noticed a couple of times they have become non-responsive and the only way to get them working again is to power-cycle them at the mains socket. I do not think it is wifi connective issue as my basestation is in the room next door and only a stud plasterboard wall separates the room. I will keep an eye on this and try and track down where the issue is...

Unlike other EVE products this one is a dud.
OK - I bought the strip and 2 extensions This product has wifi and unlike many other eve products no bluetooth (which is important). The Strip generates its own wifi signal which one uses to add the product to ones home system after that like all other eve products it should pick up your home network and switch to this -- but for me this is where the wheels flew off. The strip simply would not connect to either my home network OR the eve extender sitting right next to it. The only way to control this product was to connect back onto the strip's wifi - turn it on or off etc. - and this also proved unreliable. YES I have spent far too long with EVE support (Volker and others) who have made increasingly unacceptable demands for me to turn off my Mesh Router's features (all work well with the 12+ other EVE products in my house) and non of their suggestions worked. NO matter which device I used to add it or control it and no matter how often I add it, remove it and reset it. Save you money and do not buy this product. It has a sticky strip -- which is close to useless too. The extensions just plug into the end of the source product and there is NO clip or ability of this join to be placed under any tension - it simply comes undone. YES one could gaffer tape the 2+ sections together MY solution is to use an EVE Plug to control ON/OFF and buy an Amazon Alexa strip for use as a decoration.

A must have for any smart home.
Wow, what an amazing piece of kit. So easy to connect to Apple HomeKit and works like a dream. The range of colours and brightness available is staggering, far more than I could’ve imagined. I have various scenarios set up within HomeKit for example, movie time which turns all the lights off and dims the light strip to about 10% with a soft, glow. This really is an essential part to any smart home and I have two of them now, one in the bedroom as well which is great for setting to fall off to sleep with one set up with a timer to turn off automatically. It then also wakes me up with the alarm on my iPhone with a gentle, waking up sunshine feel. Definitely recommend, buy one today.

What you want to really know?
The good: Easy to install and setup! The Bad: Adhesion failed within a week and that was after I cleaned the bonding surface and firmly attached strip. Lights have good control features but the colour accuracy is only good for very basic lighting setups, say for a desk area or kitchen. Yellow is a colour it could not achieve for example but you liked cream, that was its equivalent. Recommendation: If you really want great LED lighting strips with fantastic colour accuracy then go checkout MEDIALIGHT and their MK2 series !!

Likely to break if you trim the strip.
Bought two of these and both broke when I trimmed the strip (following instructions exactly).

Great product that protects your data
Set this up behind a TV to project colour on to a white wall behind it and it works a treat. My senior-aged mother absolutely loves it too and with its Siri integration and simplicity to use, she loves choosing different colours each day. I have a Nanoleaf Lighstrip also and while their app allows for more “fun” features like moving colours and user uploaded styles, in my experience you rarely need these on a day to day basis anyway, plus Eve’s data is protected behind Apple’s HomeKit whereas most other companies send their data back to Chinese servers.

Works great in HomeKit.
Just lovely. Adds ambience to my living room. I have stuck it behind my TV unit. It was long enough to go across a quite long unit 175cm. I added it a few years ago and it’s still stuck to the back to the unit so the adhesion is good. It’s bright enough to give ambient light to my living room on its own. I like the wide variety of colour it can produce. The app also seems able to see more smart devices than the Home App. I’m not sure why but sometimes I prefer over Apple’s app. I have it integrated in to my HomeKit routines, it’s been rock solid reliable. There are no special features with Christmas lights or syncing with TV. Go elsewhere for that.
