I'm tickled "blood" red.
Firstly, the color isn't a screamin' at you fire engine red, but a nice dark red which is what I wanted. It's constructed of solid wood which was a plus. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. My grandson calls it his and thanked me for buying it; a great snack table for him and he likes the height of the stools. The finish on the table top seems durable and looks nice. The paint was well applied. I was concerned about the stability with the top down, but the added weight of the drawers helped that. I love I can store the stools underneath when not in use. It's easy to extend and fold down. It's a great size if you're dealing with a small space and easy to move. I won't say it was easy to put together and an extra set of hands was needed to stabilize the supports while screwing them in. The instructions could have been a bit more detailed. TIPS: Put the towel bars on BEFORE the top braces and the holes in the drawer sides are for stops. Make sure they're to the back. Three screws are ample for the casters. Don't try to add a fourth. The cart was well engineered, but the holes for the casters were off and it seemed the screw holes on the barstools were drilled a bit too deep. However, no biggie and the aggras encountered while putting it together weren't biggies. It's a handy accent piece that looks a lot more expensive than it was. 5 stars for value on the money.

Cute, sturdy, great for small spaces
This is a great table for a small space. We got this for my Grandma who does not have a real place for a kitchen table. It was not very difficult to put together, but I did try to use a drill (as other reviews suggested) and that was just too much power. It tended to strip the screws. Not an issue if you don't have to take it apart, but I did put one piece on backwards and needed to take that off, and of course the screw was stripped on that piece. So I hand tightened the rest. Took about an hour and a half, even with the error. We opted not to put the towel holders on the end because she just wasn't going to use them and we could fit it more snug against the wall without them. Love that the stools are stored underneath. She's 90 and has no problem pulling out the stools or putting them back underneath. It's very sturdy and so cute!

Great little table for small spaces
For what it is this is a very nice little table with stools. It is inexpensive and easy to put together. This isn't meant to be a table that will take a lot of rough wear and tear. It's compact but the table expands to a nice little size that accommodates 2. We bought a small townhome and the kitchen is very small. We can use this and then put it away next to the wall and the stools store nicely underneath. I do agree that the red isn't a true red but more of a red/burgundy but is still very cute. If you don't abuse it it should hold up pretty well. I'd recommend it to anyone who can take proper care of it.

Lots of parts but very good overall; takes work to put together
1) Obviously these reviews cover the 3 or 4 different models. I bought the drop leaf with 2 stools, wanted white, but that wasn't available. Study which model and color you want. 2) LOTS of parts. Fairly easy to put together, need a phillips screwdriver and a small hammer or mallet, in addition to the allen wrench it comes with. I used an elect drill for smaller screws (with clutch so didn't over tighten), but the 16 large screws go in with allen wrench provided, but they are hard to screw in. Hands will feel it afterwards, or take breaks. The big screws must be very tight or it will wobble. Mine went together fairly easily following the OK directions, and is very solid. 3) I read some complained drawers only opened 2-3 inches. They have the side pieces of the drawers backwards. THIS IS NOT COVERED IN INSTRUCTIONS. The side pieces of the drawer have a hole on the outside where a dowel is tapped in to prevent drawer from falling out. THE HOLE MUST GO TO THE BACK OF THE DRAWER. You cannot tap in the dowel stop until drawer in installed on the side, and the middle dowels are a bit hard to reach. The instructions cover everything else. 4) They provide 16 screws for the casters, but they only drilled 8 starter holes. I had to drill the other 8 and they were at joints so I drilled at an angle. Minor issue. 5) Again, TIGHTEN THE BIG SCREWS tight. You can see the joints close and while hard all the way, allen wrench will suddenly get very hard or stop. Overall, a very good table, esp for the price. Good quality, but on my model the bottom piece support is a little cheap, but needed to be solid to make the table sturdy; just the square inserts are lower quality than the rest of the structure. Wood pieces are not all one piece, some are several pieces glued together similar to a glue-lam used for floors or beams in home building; OK for the price.

Perfect for Tiny Home
I love this table/stool unit! We built a tiny home that has a small kitchen and living room, but no real dining area. I put this item on my wish list for 6 months considering it, wish I'd bought it sooner! It tucks away under my coffee nook area, and easily pulls out when needed. I can also use the table top as extra counter space when needed in the kitchen. I generally hate assembling furniture items, but this wasn't too hard and didn't take too long. I was able to do it by myself. I left off the towel bars, so it would fit where I store it, and actually attached them to my cabinet doors under my kitchen sink! It seems pretty sturdy, the table top is thick and relatively heavy. The only part that seems cheaply made is the caster wheels. So cute!

SMALL Island / Table
It's a cute little island / table big enough for 2 people. Even with all the wheels locked it isn't sturdy. One little nudge scoots it. We've had it about 2 months and I'm already replacing it. It you need something small and want to easily move it around this is for you. If you want to actually eat at it, this isn't the table you're looking for!

It was not difficult to put together all parts came with it and no damage due to shipping 😊😊
I like everything about it. the color, it is sturdy, the height, the convenience, THE PRICE, just a neat little breakfast or lunch nook. It's not in the way The fold up table and tuck away stools make it a really nice addition to my small kitchen 😀
