Triad Hydrophilic Wound Dressing with CMC 6 oz. Sterile 1967, 1 Ct

This product has been instrumental in helping to heal and protect the buttocks skin on a bed-bound elderly senior. It is critical to protect the skin from moisture to prevent skin breakdown and fungus. We used it morning and night when there was a skin issue to heal, and once healed, just in the evening for maintenance (use A&D and zinc in the morning.) The downside is it quite expensive, that is why we only use it at night now. But the maintenance protocol is working.

i had 9 months of Wound Care! What is this stuff? It is mostly zinc oxide mixed with fillers. You put it around a wound on good skin. What it does is keep the good skin dry while the wound area is being kept moist with Solosite Gel, Xeroform bandages, and similar. Keeping wounds moist is key to not scabbing and faster skin repair. The problem is that if the good skin around it, is kept constantly moist, it can itch, become infected, get unhealthy. So you use a strip of Triad around the wound to prevent moisture contact with the skin. The zinc oxide, similar to sunblock, protects the healthy skin tissue if any Solosite gel or heavily lubed Xeroform bandages land on it. Worked very well for me. If you have surgery, wounds or similar get this. Triad is used for a lot of wounds, ulcer, sores, etc. A very useful thing to have in the home pharmacy.

If you have a baby with a diaper rash, this product is absolutely amazing for the crusting technique. You need Vaseline and gall pads, as well as ADAPT powder, but it will clear up any diaper rush. The hospital showed me this and I swear by this product !! definitely something you should have especially with a little baby or newborn or anyone in diapers

I absolutely love this product. I have wounds from opened skin from sweat due to my having to wear an adult diaper at 60. I actually started 11 years ago. But anyway, I can get very red, sore and excoriate which is EXTREMELY painful. Now, over all these years I have tried every single cream, fungal powder, Rx med for fungal infections, vasaline, an oatmeal mixture then put a gauze pad over it to keep it in place, which it didn't when I had to get up and use the potty next to my bed due to being disabled. Well, my mother whom is a nurse at a nursing home told me they use this product all the time on their patients and it really works. So I bought it from Amazon and she helped put it on me and yup, she was right, it is healing the open wound. Thank you Jesus 🙏. If you are looking for a product to help with an open wound, open sores and also first and second degree burns this IS your solution!! You will not be sorry. It don't cost much for the amount you get. So, if you do buy it and it don't work for you I'd give it to someone else who might in need of something like this. This is a good and reliable product. Does the job it's supposed to. A little high in price, but the fast delivery makes it worth it.

Is this expensive? Yes. Does it work miracles? ALSO YES. If your kid has a diaper rash, and NOTHING seems to make it better, THIS IS YOUR HOLY GRAIL. Apply consistently and, unless your kid needs to legit go to the hospital, this stuff will get them recovered. My husband and I solely call it "the good stuff" because it's just the truth. Use your HSA card, budget for it, put it on a registry, whatever you need to do, you want this stuff once diaper rash comes into play. Aside from the cost, it's not easy to get every little bit out of the bottle. GET SCISSORS AND CUT THAT SUCKER OPEN, EXTRACT EVERY LAST BIT. Use a silicone spatula to get it out and put it in a little airtight storage container. IT IS WORTH IT.

Hospital quality! This is the same ointment they give you in the hospital if you are dealing with a rash. Great stuff!!
