Needs double-sided tape for my Yamaha alto recorder
Decades ago, I played the clarinet. When I started learning the alto recorder, I was lost without a thumb rest. This was the only one I could find. Once I determined the best spot to place it, I used double-sided tape to keep in place. Only 3 stars because IMO it's overpriced.

It was a little big - but I tweaked
It was a little big for my alto Yamaha recorder but I adjusted it with a small piece of velcro from dollar store. Worked fine.

I think it will do. I bought it for my alto recorder even though it's designed to fit a tenor. I put a bit of tape under it and so far that's been enough to keep it where I want it.

More comfortable to hold tenor recorder
My fingers are a bit more stiff than they used to be -- this product is very helpful. It fits my Aulos tenor like it was made for it. Only had it a short while, so don't know about durability, though I have had my Aulos alto recorder for over forty years and it is still in excellent condition -- and it appears to be made of the same material as this thumb rest.

Great gadget
I found it more and more difficult to play my tenor recorder due to arthritis in my right thumb. This simple gadget alleviated the problem. Very impressed.
