Superb quality, thickness and the right amount of stretch and softness. I included a video if you would like to get an idea for the thickness and shape when held in the hands (note that the video is of only a portion of the lace I received). ⠀ I use it for zipper pulls but this would be great for lacing moccasins and purses. High quality and worth the price.

These were thicker than I initially thought and not quite as wide, that said, the measurements were transparent I was just too dumb to realize them. Overall the product quality is quite nice, it's real leather (smells great) with no obvious flaws. It won't hold up to much stretching, its not meant to be taut, it would be good for wrapping things (handles, bracelets, etc...) or for light jewelry. I can see it complimenting a renaissance style outfit nicely. My only real problem was that they were definitely two different shades of color. They base color was similar enough but it was pretty noticeable that it wasn't the same string throughout both lines.

I was making slippers for a Xmas gift and realized almost last minute that I didn’t have the lacing I needed. I didn’t have the money to spend on an entire spool at the time. I was able to order a small amount and get it the next day. It might be a little thicker than I needed for these slippers but it worked out great.

this is a top of the top Lacing. I bought this to repair my leather bag. The lace is as the color you see on amazon. The thing I had a project and I tried different laces but they failed me big time. This I bought well over a year and it doesn't change, it is looking the same and my bag is in constant use. I have added some pics of it. So here me. If you have like expensive hand made stuff to repair, don't worry. this lace won't fail you. My bag is new again. Buy without fear, dangerous leather threads are here. Purchased to replace latigo straps for my saddle and these are basically shoe laces. They are not for saddle rigging. This is my fault as I went by description & photo but didn’t read dimensions.

This is the leather cord you're looking for if you want the kind that gets better with age. It makes great jewelry because it gets softer and more supple the longer its worn. It is cut into a narrow lace, but this stuff is tough. I am a grown man, 5'10, 200 lbs and I can't break this stuff very easily. ... and I ordered more...
