Good fit!
The burner replaces the one that came with the fondue pot I bought thirty years ago. It's a perfect fit.

Essential for fondue
This replacement burner was a perfect fit for my stand. We use fire gel and it worked well. Our cheese fondue (gruyere from Costco) was tasty as usual.

Best Fondue heat source
I was getting sick of dealing with the Sterno cups of my old Fondue "burner" (just a cup to hold the can, no regulator), so I looked into this one. It has a nice regulator, you simply rotate it to open 3, 6 or none of the holes, with gradual changes inbetween. The burner can be filled with liquid fuel (I use denatured alcohol, found in hardware stores, as it burns the cleanest), pured into the mesh material of the inner cup. That cup can also be removed, and gel-type cans can be placed there instead. It fits perfectly with my cast-iron type fondue pot.

Five Stars
Let the Fondue-ing Begin. This little item has temp control and one can use it in a few different ways. First, just the way you get it, pour some fluid ( I use 91% alcohol - the 32oz bottle is always on sale every other week at Rite Aid or Walgreens.) right into the top of the burner and let the fire begin. Because this little unit has a removable cup in the middle, take the cup out one can use a Gel Type accelerant to burn in a pinch (like Hand Sanitizer - look for the type without scent or moisturizers) which works if you have nothing else. BE Sure not to add Gel to the fiberglass wick -(it will make the fiberglass smoke). The more you use this product, I'm sure you'll think of a few more ideas on how to use this handy cooking tool.

At least I didn't set the kitchen on fire
I used the fondue burner today for the first time. This is also the first time I used something other than an electric pot.I was a little nervous because of the flash fire warnings on the gel fluid bottle. The "instructions " on the burner package were so minimal that they could have been used as illustrations to real instructions.I didn't set the kitchen on fire, but I have no idea about what to do with the fuel left in the burner: whether or not I should wash the burner with/without the remaining fuel, or at all; ... Little things like that.

What I received was not what was in the photos
Not only did the fondue burner not come with a burner cover piece as shown in the photos provided by CUISINOX, the burner didn't have the black handle, which you'll want since burners like this get hot to the touch when lit. See the attached photo for what I received. The metal making up the burner was very thin and bendable. I was expecting the stainless steel metal to be thicker. Also, it was shipped loose in a plastic bag. I was surprised that the burner didn't get damaged or at least bent in shipping.

Works as expected, good value for money
This works exactly as expected. I've improvised using Sterno gel and it worked like a charm. It is certainly good value for money.
