This is my first guitar. I’ve only had it a couple days but I’ll say I think This is a perfect guitar for beginners. The appearance of this guitar is just okay. It has visual imperfections. But it plays well, it’s light and easy to hold and it feels comfortable. All in all I’m happy with this purchase so far. If anything changes, I’ll update.

First off - this does not come set up in any way shape or form. If you are not familiar with guitars and buy this for a child please know that it's not a horrible instrument just because the strings come loose. The first thing I did is replace the strings - I got the nylon version and nylon strings are notorious for taking forever to stretch out to their final length. Another thing to be aware of - the guitar going out of tune with brand new strings is not the guitar's fault - that's just the nature of classical guitars and since it wasn't setup or tuned from the factory it's going to take a while after you get it for it to stay in tune because the strings are stretching out slowly. I pick the guitar right up by the strings and bounce it a bit to help stretch things out when I change nylon strings. Second, this is a 70 dollar guitar, manage your expectations. I have about 10 different stringed instruments in my possession in varying qualities. I've bought cheaper instruments when I was planning on spending a chunk of money because the cheaper instruments can sometimes play and sound much better. You don't need to spend a massive amount of money for a solid instrument - and frankly the Pyle brand is pretty excellent for the cost. I own a bunch of their microphones and they are pretty epic honestly. I've had people listen to my podcast and tell me how impressed they are with my sound quality and think I'm using 100$+ microphones - and I'm finding the same with the guitar quality. Good tuners, decent bridge, it's really not bad. The finish is not great though - if you are purchasing an instrument for aesthetics this probably isn't for you. They put some weird coating on the fret board that was already flaking off when I got it - though I bought this as a beater guitar so I really don't care. There was also cracking in the finish at the bottom of the guitar. None of this affects playability or sound - so I don't care. I bought some fun fret marker stickers since this doesn't have any inlays, and the new strings I bought are funky colors. It looks pretty awesome for the 90$ I spent in total with the strings and inlay stickers. It sounds good. It feels great in my hands. I can toss this one in the car or put it on the floor and I couldn't care less if it gets scratched - money well spent.

Bought for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it and better quality than I was expecting for the price point. She loves the blue color. It’s gorgeous. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the zipper on the bag broke the first time we used it.

My daughter was obsessed with learning the guitar but sometimes she changes her mind quickly. So I bought this for her for Christmas. It’s actually really nice for a beginner instrument with plenty of ways for her to learn and develop her skills. Definitely recommend

Its a guitar for pros on a budget . Cheap doesn't mean it's for beginners. It means it's cheap for pros that can make it sound good.

Good guitar for a beginner, just the right size for my 6yo son. Easy to tune and play. Need to occasionally retune.

There are multiple crimes this product has committed: 1) The tuning keys detune within 2-3 minutes, so you cannot even finish a complete song before the strings go out of tune. And yes for the naysayers who say "well they're new strings you need to let them stretch" I have given this guitar an entire week before judging this issue. And I own 8 other guitars and have been playing for the last 30 years. And adjusting the torque on the tuning keys does nothing. 2) The very same classical nylon frame is sold by Amazon with STEEL strings, which will crack the bridge and/or neck if properly tuned, as steel strings exert much more tension than nylon strings. This is true for even GOOD classical guitars; you are never supposed to put steel strings on them. Imagine towing a mobile home with a Toyota Prius. There's an excellent Youtube review by Alamo Music Center (search "alamo guitar cheapest") where it keeps cracking as they try to tune it; they toss it into the dumpster at the end. 2) Even with nylon strings, correct intonation is not possible (eg., open string and and the 12th fret harmonics should match, they don't). 3) The pack of extra strings are BRAIDED together. This shows an identity crisis with the product - a beginner guitarist would have trouble figuring out which string is which, but no experienced guitarist would be caught dead with this guitar. 4) The included case is so thin it offers zero protection and can only be meant as a trash bag for this trash guitar. 5) If it's aimed demographic are adults who want to gift the beloved children in their lives the gift of music, this will teach children to hate music as there is zero reward or satisfaction in any kind of playing this instrument 6) The only positive side of this product will be to reinforce the importance of established brands; I returned this guitar after a week of suffering and ordered a Yamaha CGS103a
