Lisle 38780 22" Square No-Splatter Pad, Black

I recently purchased the Lisle 38780 22" Square No-Splatter Pad and I have to say, it's a game-changer for keeping my workspace clean. The pad is the perfect size, offering plenty of coverage without being too large or cumbersome. What I love most is the no-splatter feature. Whether I’m working with oil, grease, or any other liquids, this pad does an excellent job of absorbing spills and preventing messes from spreading. This is a quality unit that definitely made life much easier for me around the shop. It's a simple efficient design that fit my square pan perfectly out of the box, but it can be easily trimmed to fit your particular application as needed. I purchased this "splash pad" along with a "trans pan" addition for my "oil drain container" to help prevent "unwanted decorating of laundry", they work great. I no longer have to try an hold onto a slippery drain plug, often causing the mess to begin with, I simply let it drop onto the pad & retrieve it after the fluid has finished draining, then wipe it off & reinstall it, so much easier without the risk. I also purchased a circular "splash pad" that fits perfectly atop the original drain pan, and the combination virtually eliminated accidental misses & messes on the shop floor, saving me time, money & cleanup !..... This unit is definitely worth the cost of admission. My only regret, not buying this unit years ago !

Most modern vehicles now use very thin weight oil in order to facilitate fuel efficiency targets. One byproduct of that is the oil splatters very easily when draining during oil changes. This anti-splatter pad solves that problem. So nice.

It works as intended. I did however have to trim the corners as it came completely square. My pan from lisle has rounded corners. A bit of rounding on the corners and its perfect. Now it doesnt pop up higher than the pan's edge.

This thing fits perfectly inside of my oil pan and in the first day has already save me from mopping up oil all day. Definitely a time saver and makes maintaining your bay a lot easier. It is the highest quality mat I've ever seen and works like a charm. It's perfectly thick and is easy to clean with a spritz of brake cleaner. I highly recommend this if you're a tech!
