...and unfortunately this pair of hot and cold solid brass body replacement tap cartridges were were just too long to fit my particular kitchen mixer tap without leaving a gap at the base. Supplied as a pair with both clockwise [blue cold] and anti-clockwise [red for hot] they have standard 20 teeth spline top and should fit almost all tap tops including those that may also need a screw fit in the stem top. The makers of my kitchen mixer tap had, without me noticing, changed the design of the actual tap headers and I happily bought these as replacements only to discover they were slightly too tall and the tap header [cover] whilst fitting the 20 tooth spline then stood tall and just didn't look right. There are so many different tap cartridges being used by tap manufacturers that it really is important to take out your existing cartridge and make careful measurements to get the correct replacements - size really does matter. Replacing your worn out cartridges yourself is one of those DIY jobs that can be done and there are a number of YouTube videos that will give plenty of advice if you have never done it before - plus it is so much cheaper than calling out a plumber for what is mostly a 30 minute job given a good pair of grips and a screwdriver. As far as I could see these tap cartridges were very well made and I was sorry to have to request an Amazon Prime return - but that is the beauty of Amazon Prime when you make a genuine mistake. Simple to fit

Simple and easy to replace old leaking ceramic washers. They work great and don't leak. Great items, fast delivery, Good value for money.

Used these to replace two worn out (rubber washer based) cartridges in a kitchen mixer tap. Dropped in a treat and perform perfectly with one caveat ... no screws were supplied to fix the tap heads and the existing ones are too large for the thread. So while they work fine, the tap heads just sit on top and can be pulled off accidently. Hopefully I can find a pair of screws in the toolbox to secure them. Not the end of the world, yet I see now that other makes do include the fixings and these otherwise decent items have been spoilt by the lack of them.

Easy to install , they are manufactured to a reasonable standard my only gripe is the inserts parts were wrong, the red coloured insert(hot) was actually the cold so had to reassemble the components.

No soy fontanero, pero si un poco manitas. Gracias a estos vástagos pude reparar un grifo de lavabo roto, ahorrando un dinero considerable. Son para grifos de rosca, y hay que desmontarlo para llegar hasta la pieza en cuestión, pero no me resultó complicado. Solo necesité un destornillador y una llave inglesa.

J'ai acheté ces têtes céramiques pour mon robinet mélangeur de lavabo, mais comme un des sièges est abîmé, je ne peux pas les mettre car le joint sous la tête neuve est trop petit et pas assez épais pour bien épouser la surface abîmée du siège, donc j'ai remis à la place des têtes standards à joints en serrant fort le bouton pour fermer du côté du siège abîmé, donc les têtes céramiques me serviront pour un autre robinet où les sièges sont bons . Oui, il faut changer les têtes quand ça commence à fuir peu, sans forcer, sinon on abîme le siège et ensuite c'est beaucoup plus compliqué à réparer . J'ai essayé de rôder les sièges, mais si on rôde trop, c'est pire . Donc rodage léger de surface ou pas de rodage du siège . Dans le doute, ne rodez pas, changez juste les têtes ou les joints .
