Gardena combisystem Telescopic Handle 90-145 cm: Extension handle for combisystem tools, infinitely adjustable, wobble-free connection (3719-20)

I have a fish pond, I need to catch my fish every now and then to isolate them. I also need to clean out the sludge and leaves quite often. This was one of those purchases where you think - Hmmmm is it worth it, it's just a Pole ! I can tell you, it is really worth it, I have purchased other accessories which can be added to the end (other than the net) and they are great too. Check out the system for these tools - it's really good. The handle that is used to set the length actually locks the length, even when using it as a rake. That sounds daft to point out, but so may "extendable" type tools, either, don't lock very tightly so the length changes as you work, or they lock so tightly they never undo and your stuck with a full length tool. That's not the case here, I open and close, this length every time I use it and it always locks perfectly. It spends a great deal of time underwater, fishing weeds and leaves out of my pond, and I never really dry it properly, I just shake it off and put it in the shed, and it has no sign of rust or ageing - it looks perfect still. There is a cool little drain hole at the bottom of the pole so it just drains the water out when you stand it upside down (very clever thinking). Worth every penny, but be careful.... You will want more attachments for this I am sure.

I have found this to be just what I was looking for. It works easily to break an lift the soil in my borders. Working around the plants loosening weeds, the blade pulls down to full depth lifting and breaking packed soil. The tool seems well made and strong but light for me it is easy to work with at my age. Length of the handle is adjustable.

Versatile product that meets requirements

Very pleased with the combi pole. I'd already got a couple of tools but couldn't find the pole. It fits the tools I've got and I bought a new weeding tool. The length is adjustable or the tools can be used hand held. Seems quite strong but light to use.

Great telescopic handle. Very comfortable and easy to use. Long enough for a someone 6 feet tall. Also easy to attach the rake.

My first thought was wow this is way over priced for what it is. But having bought a compatible hand tool to remove weeds from in between my block paving this extension was going to save me bending down. Having received the item my first impression was, it's very good quality and robust. I'm guessing if looked after it will last year's. Well worth the close to £30 I paid. I have also bought a grass rake attachment in addition to the weed tool attachment of the same make and both fit perfectly. It may seem over priced but when you think about the versatility and space you will save having multiple tool heads and only one handle, storage will be minimal. Would I recommend this extension pole? Yes definitely, build quality is excellent and the available head attachments provide a fair amount of interchangeable tools. I'm very happy with my purchases.

The product although not huge extension, offers medium use ergonomics by adjustment to user preference and exceptional quality made in germany and comfort handle. Expensive gardening equipment but why not do a tough boring job in comfort!
