Guess its easy to put together....if you know what you are doing
Bought this chair purely relying on my instincts, as there is/was no review on it. I am the 1st to write a review on Amazon and I hope helpful...for what its worth.It was relatively easy to put together. Although I did install it with the seat facing the wrong way -- although hard to say now as photos on Amazon seem to show the seat installed either way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Then I also put the seat hands the wrong way. Needless to say, I was not having a good day putting this together.But I was able to take things apart - twice - and still manage to have a fully upright chair in under two hours. Bravo to me.It is a very comfortable chair. The seat is wide and bouncy (cant figure any other way to describe). The height is perfect for my long legs. I love that is leans back (although I keep worrying I may soon break the hinge as I dont trust my building skills). Love the swivel. Love that it is NOT a cloth/cushion seat. I've only had it a full day now, and you might have guessed I am having a lot of fun with it rolling around my covid-home-office.There were a few missing pieces - 3 nail washers, which I guess the manufacturers decided are not really necessary. I disagree, as there is a reason why they are included in the pictorial instructions.All in all, a good purchase. I hope it lasts and is durable. I'm not getting reimbursed from my job for setting up a comfortable working space during covid home-based work, so this has to be a good investment.

Overall it is good. One minor point: the installation instruction is vague and NOT very accurate.

highly suspected bootleg
ergomax is a top-tier chinese brand, but i highly suspect this is a bootleg. here are the reasons.1. instruction manual is very vague, and its only 3 A4 pages.2. the seat cushion may very easy be installed in the wrong direction. be careful3.missing 3 washers for back rest4.i dont see "ergomax 3d" on jd.com( one of the largest chinese online platform). the popular model is ergomax evolution, and it looks a bit different from "ergomax 3d"5. strong weird plastic smell. not sure if it's toxic formaldehyde.-------update----------although i suspect it's a bootleg, after 18months of using at 40hrs/week, the chair is still in good shape and comfortable. so im changing the rating from 1star to 4stars
