I was excited about this because they were a little smaller than some others I had used so I was thinking less wasteful yet the still easily held 2TBLS of loose tea. I am worried now they may not be porous enough as I feel like my tea doesn’t look as dark after it has steeped and now I have 400 bags to use up. Size, quantity, durability and string length all good.

Sturdy! They are filled pretty full with coffee and put into French press, refrigerated for cold coffee for 24 hours, or submerged in hot water for hot coffee. Coffee will cause increases in cholesterol if not filtered through paper, and this happened to us prior to use, and using them worked! They rarely tear, and when they do, it’s mostly user error. The ties are great, make opening securely closed and have no issues with coffee beans ground coarse or medium leaking through. Have been using them for over a year without issues and still have some left. Work well!

These hold up SO well in tea. They've been a game changer for looseleaf teas and I've finally been able to get through my tea stock! There is no funny taste or smell, they are a great size, and come at a great value - there are so many included for the price you pay. The bags are strong enough to withstand pulling the strings to close the bag, they close well and stay closed easily (I tie the string around the nape of the closure, then tie it off) and the tea is just as fragrant and full in taste as if you strained it. The paper is thin enough to allow great taste and easy steeping without any ripping, or concern for the quality of the paper.

Yes, they are tea bags, but I’m going to use them in many other ways. I’ll use them for coffee, spices in my tea and in my soups. The used up coffee grounds, I will throw in my campfire to keep the mosquitoes away. I may even pack potpourri in them and put them in my rooms or in the car. Too many uses.

Wow, how did I ever live without these! They're awesome! I can make my own blends so easily and most of all NEATLY! Fits all you would need. I used a couple slices of dried bitter melon, a pinch of green tea and a dried hibiscus flower with room to spare. I doubted the closure but it's tough paper.
