Make sure you put the holder as far down as you can to secure the carrier to the battery .

Nice addition to my assortment of Battery straps
If I only had one batttery strap this would not be my choice. But I do like the option provided by the side connections. This is one of my 4 straps, each working well with a particular battery. So yes, I would recommend this strap which is also well made.

Very well made
Makes it much easier to pull or replace a battery, especially if you have a little trouble with arthritis as I do. Well made and well worth the money. Now days everything is packed in very tightly in the engine compartment, so getting a grip on the sides of the battery isn't always very easy, & usually very awkward to boot. This works great for top or side post terminals. Simple but effective.

This is the tool to carry car batteries
We have several vehicles all with different battery terminal formats. I had an old battery strap that worked for batteries with terminals on top but it got misplaced a while back. It didn't work for my truck's battery side terminals anyway. I found this solution at a great price and used it to remove and replace two batteries in a matter of a couple of weeks. Just what I needed to lift the battery out of the vehicles.

nothing special. cheaply made, but works good for lawn tractor batteries when you use carabiner clips at each end terminal.

The pos ring does not fit the pos terminal on two different batteries. I contacted Steelman and they just wasted my time. How can Amazon allow venders to sell sub par products at the expense of its customers. Huge fail all the way around. Very disappointed customer.
