Good all around headset.
To start, I think this is a good headset all around. Sound quality is good, it's comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the price point is actually pretty reasonable. It's easy to use with both my Xbox One and my Playstation 4. The quality of the headphones is good enough to be able to hear details in whatever game you're playing. The lows are really good and the highs are excellent as well. In fact, the highs are a little too loud sometimes, but over all not too bad. While playing PUBG, I could hear all the details that I needed to. After getting shot at by a sniper rifle, I could hear the crack and snap of the round whizzing past me. Because the highs are really good and a little too high sometimes, the sound actually made me jump out of my seat. On fortnite I am able to accurately pinpoint where enemies are around me and where I'm getting shot from. The sound is really good in a game like sea of thieves as well. I can hear all the details of the environment around me from the creaking ship to the waves splashing against the ship to the wildlife on the islands. It's also good enough to be able to hear an enemy pirate trying to swim up to your ship and sneak on to your ladder. The only issue I've had with it is one of the cords stopped working properly. It was the extension cord with the inline mute toggle and volume control. I only had to use that cord for the Playstation. For the Xbox I have the controller adapter that they sell separately. They don't sell the cords separately and I couldn't find a replacement that was similar anywhere online. I could hear the chat and I could control the volume, but no one could hear me talk. I had to fiddle with the connection from headset to extension cord for my voice to actually come through, but it wouldn't stay that way unless I held it there ( much like an AUX cord for your car or a pair of old headphones ). I contacted plugable performance support and they answered me within minutes and this was about mid evening about 8 o'clock at night. Within 24 hours they were already sending me a replacement cord and they also sent me an extra cord per my request with no extra charge for any of it. So again, overall a really good headset. I would highly recommend.

Very well balanced
I bought these based on a very trusted gaming review. Glad I did!First thing: always break in audio equipment, especially speakers. These are little speakers for your ears, so they should be treated as such.Construction feels sturdy, maybe a little heavy but not cumbersome by any means. They feel stout. Headband is aluminum with a nice brushed black anodized finish. The cable is perfect length for me, as I don't enjoy having to find a place for an extra foot of cable in my lap like some other headsets in this price range. The cable is red and black braided and on the thicker side. Feels pretty durable. The earpads are very supple on the skin, and feel nice on a 3-4 hour gaming session,(with small breaks here and there). They conform to your shape very well, and note that I have a smaller head size and some headsets just won't seal for me completely, resulting in a loss of bass. The minute I joined a party with my kids, the first thing they noticed was how well they could hear me, and how clear my voice sounded. The Mic boom is of a very thick cable that has enough flexibility to stay where you put it, and neatly slides back into the can almost flush. It also looks very nice.Sound production after about 8 hours of low volume break in was great. They are well balanced and still able to dig deep in the bass region. Even though you can't hear 18hz, you can still feel/perceive it, and these will go that low. Over half volume and you can feel them move, giving a compression type of feeling. I play a lot of Fallout76, and there's some parts that have rumbling ground and small earthquakes. Being able to play subsonic notes have a convincing effect that draws you in really well. This is while plugged in to the Xbox oneS controller, second generation. Although they sound excellent as is just plugged into the controller, you can tell they are a little power hungry and would definitely benefit from having a DAC/amp inline for added power and clarity.Overall, these are a huge bargain for me given how well they are built, sound, and how comfortable they are. Worth $20 more than what you pay for sure.

Uncomfortable, mediocre sound quality
I used these to watch an episode of the Great British Baking Show and the sound quality was acceptable, but by the end of the episode my ears were aching a bit. Round earcups have never agreed with me (maybe my ears are too tall or something), and these pressed on the tips of my ears just enough to become painful over time. Then I tried listening to some music, and I knew immediately that I would be returning the headset. The bass was flat and everything sounded weirdly tinny. I use Boom 3D and even fiddling around with the equalizer settings in there couldn't save it.I've had a HyperX Cloud Stinger headset for about three years now and the cable finally started to give out, so I thought I would shop around to see if anything better might exist in a similar price range. Based on this experience, I should have just bought the Stinger again. If you're looking for a good budget headset and don't mind if your treble is a bit punchy, definitely go grab that headset. More comfortable, and MUCH better sound.(Disclaimer: I can't actually speak to the gaming or voicechatting ability of this headset because the music and comfort experiences were such dealbreakers for me that I didn't actually try gaming before returning it. Those could be fine. Also, as a side note, the build of the headset seemed good and the braided cable was a nice touch.)

nice
they are nice, comfortable, plug and play.. and the mic seems good.. Its very flexible too and can be positioned well.. My only issue with these, is that its hard to hear your self speak.. Your voice doesn't get fed back through the ear pieces.. so you can hardly hear yourself speak.. Kind of takes me out of the moment some times.. but Im getting used to it..

Best bang for the buck!
I usually take days researching on an electronic item before I purchase it looking for reviews. Since this was only recently released, I could only see 1 review and the cons it listed I don't really consider an issue. So I purchased this with very low expectations so I will not get disappointed. I had it shipped overnight and surprised to see that the packaging is actually pretty decent. Build quality is superb! I like how they use soft faux leather similar to the older Audio Technica ATH-AD700.. i have to be aware to clean this regularly though otherwise it will easily flake. I like the brushed metal finish of the headset too! Cushion for the head is very comfortable, earcups are a bit oversized. I thought my Audio Technica ATH-M50x is big... this one is bigger! I don't find it to be heavy though.I like that the mic is retractable and malleable -- you may need to readjust a few times as it tend straighten a bit because of the plastic sheath. I also like the the way that you have the option to include the inline vol and mic mute optional. And as for the sound quality -- I am surprised that it actually sounds good. Sound signature is just similar to my Logitech G933 Spectrum. Mic quality is superb! even better then the G933. My G933 has random pops when listening to low volume audio this one does not! My G933 has background white noise on the mic while this one has got none that I notice! I like the sound coming from the mic as well.. I sound so tinny with the G933 while there's a bit of mid bass on this mic. I just did a test call to a coworker via IP phone and he said that I was the one with the clearest voice he spoke with so far on the phone! While my G933 is wireless, I find it easy to switch to this headset as my main.I do not give 5 stars easily and don't write reviews this long.No. I was not paid for this review.

Not comfortable at all. Padding on earpads is very thin
These sound ok, look ok, and are built quite well BUT they are not comfortable at all. I have an average size head and these put pressure just below the ear. The main reason for this is the padding on the earpads is very very thin. From the pictures you would think it is very thick, but you would be wrong. Half or more of the the faux leather isn't padding at all.I have returned these and hope to find a better pair.

Meh. It's ok as headphones only.
It worked really well, until 2 or 3 months after purchase and the mic part doesnt work at all. Which is kinda half the product..
