Use frequently as a house mic
I am a sound engineer and I do sound design and installs for churches. I have used this mic several times as a house mic for adding to the livestream mix or for adding to the in ears mix, works great and and about 1/10 of the price for other condenser mics.

Best Budget MEASUREMENT MIC money can buy!
The mic is a surprisingly good measurement microphone that won’t stress you out if it gets lost or banged up. It’s affordable, works well for room measurements, and delivers accurate results without costing an arm and a leg. I love that I can bring it to gigs, rehearsals, or any setup without constantly worrying about babying it.

It gets the job done
Got this to use with ik multimedia's Arc software (or whatever it's called) to measure my speakers/room frequency response. Speaker correction system I guess is what it is. It worked as far as I can tell. I've no idea how to test it for accuracy. Was going to try it on vocals for the heck of it but didn't. Maybe some other time. So yeah, build quality is fine, it has a metal housing, comes in a plastic case with foam padding. It includes a pop filter and the attachment for a mic stand. It worked, no complaints.

Yes.
Purchased this to measure my room. Behringer doesn’t get enough credit. I’ve worked in Music sales over the years and you’d be surprised as to home many times I’ve seen Behringer outperform some bigger names of higher prices.

No better price on the planet for a measurement mic
I'm an experienced engineer, and I've recorded and made music for >10 years now. I picked this up as a simple room measurement mic - what it's made for. I have no intention of recording real audio with it, and haven't tried it out for that yet, though I probably will in the future, as it can't hurt to try it out as a room mic for room reverb or something. For making room measurements, it does what it's supposed to do. Get calibration files online from Behringer, and you're good to go. I don't do room measurements manually, using software to make corrections as needed. It works with that software just find, and you won't find a lower cost measurement mic anywhere. You'll probably find some with flatter frequency response curves, but the calibration file helps with that. I'm giving 4 starts because, yes, you can find better measurement mics out there, but you won't find anything this low cost. If you're only going to use it to measure a room every once in a while, it's perfect.

Fantastic mic
I spent about 5 hours with the Umik-1 and this Behringer. I gotta give it to the Behringer. It was a much more flatter line on the higher frequencies. Highly recommended. Unbelievable price.

Lots of bang for the buck.
I purchased this reasonably priced microphone from Amazon to replace a deteriorating CM-10 microphone that came with my AudioControl RTA years ago. The ECM8000 lacks the gain of the CM-10, but with the help of an Xtuga microphone preamplifier that I also got from Amazon, the combination works to perfection. I once reviewed audio gear for magazine articles with my RTA assisting, but these days I just use the device, the preamp, and the microphone to check the speakers in the two audio systems I have in my home to enjoy. The trio works just fine. Yeah, I am retired, and my old speakers checked out just fine, as well.
