We purchased a 19 pack of the SAMCOM FPCN30A radios for our warehouse. Since our staff can be more than just rough with the radios, we were looking to find a radio that would be more cost effective to replace when users damaged the radios beyond repair. We knew our current Motorola DTR series radios worked really well across our 170,000 sqf building, including in areas separated by 9" concrete walls or areas separated by 4" foam filled walls with steel facings. I read other reviews and decided to give the SAMCOM radios a try. After about 6 weeks of use, the radios work well throughout the facility and get the job done. These radios may have a few less programming features than our prior radios, but at 1/3 of the cost it was a okay trade off. We had 1 radio that failed and a quick note via Amazon messaging to the seller and we had a response within 24 hours that a replacement radio was being sent. That's great customer service without any hassles. I would recommend this radio and we will add more units as the business grows.

We use these radios for our school and they are fantastic! Excellent sound quality and very easy to use. We only use these within a range of approximately 1 mile. One radio had an issue, customer service to fix the issue was quick, friendly, and solved the problem.

We bought tons of these radios. This is a great quality radio for the price. They can sync up nicely and have great communication with a range of around a mile and a half. They have great sound quality and overall good durability. The only negatives are the earpiece is pretty low quality, and they don’t hold up well in wet weather.

Generally, a good device. "Three stars" But if you're not familiar with short wave, repeaters, and all that kind of thing this is not the product for you. It maxes out at a 5 W transceiver so to use as just a regular walkie-talkie they're not that good. On the other hand if you're knowledgeable and or you're willing to do the research to get on a repeater network, then I think they could be extraordinary.. But for the ordinary user, just too complicated. There are other walkie-talkies that run up to 10 W with really good antennas that will give you excellent range and signal strength in most conditions. If you've got a construction site, warehouse, etc. I wouldn't bother with these. I have several walkie-talkies around to connect team members at outdoor events. The only time we run into trouble is when somebody runs offsite for some reason. They have to switch to texting or phone calls. Moderately inconvenient but the difficulty of getting a transceiver set up, etc. well, not worth it when there's a reasonable alternative. ---> UPDATE. So it's been nearly a month since I returned these units. And I still haven't gotten my refund. I'm gonna have to text/call Amazon and argue to get the refund. This was a three star review. Now be a two star review based on the company, not being responsive to customers. ---> UPDATE. I'm reducing the review to one star. I only ever took two of these units out to test them. Summation of my testing, please see above. Subsequently the company has denied my full refund based on the inaccurate accusation that I returned them in less than good condition. I am adjusting my review to one star based on this company's oppositional behavior regarding returns. Subsequently, I've been forced to contact American Express and file a complaint with them. SO I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST PURCHASING THIS COMPANY'S EQUIPMENT.

I bought this big set to use for our committee running a large festival. They worked extremely well, had great range, and the batteries lasted through some very long days without any issues. Highly recommend these if you need a good radio without spending a fortune.

Ordered the 19 pack of radios to replace our old ones at work. These seem to be doing good so far. Batteries seem to hold a good charge. We operate in a 1/4 to 1/2 mile range and they do great unless one person is deep within a structure. We have basement areas where it is hard to get a good signal. Other than that they work good. Really like the group talk option so each department can communicate on a different channel unless they need to talk to all departments. Really nice feature. Not as good as Motorola but for a fraction of the price I’m happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend
