Highlander Echo Sleeping Bag Technical Spiral Filling for an Extra Warm nights Sleep – Great for Camping, Bushcraft and Extreme Expeditions Throughout the Year

Absolutely brilliant, brought this for wild camping mainly with my hammock and tarp. After spending a few almost sleepless nights; due to cold temperatures it was time for a splurge. So first off as other reviews state, it is a big boy bagged up, but that said the compression straps help alot. And I soon realised the extra bulk was more than justified. The warmth of this bag compared to others I've owned is phenomenal, at -8 I was blissfully unaware of the cold, without being uncomfortably hot. As far as comfort goes I'm 5"11 - 12 stone and fairly stocky, and had no problems getting in and out while in my hammock.It does get a little tighter round knee hight as narrows for the foot box - which is a nice touch. All in all this is a unbelievable bargain I couldn't be more pleased.

This is one hell of a sleeping bag!! Bought for our daughter who is a army cadet and is currently doing her Duke of Edinburgh award, sleeping under the stars on dartmoor is never going to be "cosy" but this bag kept her as warm as possible you can feel the quality it's a reallu good piece of kit.

Its really warm in winter days (toasty warm), but then its also very heavy (but is quite compact) and a bit tight on the shoulders when you're in it. Am an average bloke and not that broad, and I feel really uncomfortable in it width wise. I will be looking for min 85cm width and half the weight this is.I suppose its what you're used to, as Its fine if you like the bag hugging you and you like turning with the bag, but if not look else where - maybe an envelope type bag. That`s what am looking for... This bag is just too heavy for hiking/back packing etc.

It's big, it's bulky but by crikey it's superwarm... got this for overnighting in the van whilst sea fishing in winter... after a couple of near death experiences freezing in the car I invested in this as it fitted the budget and wasn't bothered about packability etc. It does a really good job and kept me from freezing on nights at or below zero.. I've torn the cover a bit nut it;s still really useful. In summer I use it underneath me for extra comfort and tuck in if it gets cold. For the money... well warm!

I bought a couple of them for a trip to Iceland. We slept at 0 degrees Celsius and they felt so warm that sometimes we had to open them a bit.The only issue I found is related with the zip. It can get stuck easily. Not a big deal though. Just a bit annoying sometimes. That's why I don't give it 5 stars.A nice trick to fit them in your luggage (as they are QUITE big) is transport them vacuum-packed :)

This is a nice sleeping bag, but I have to take issue with the rated temperatures that the manufacturers state their bags are rated down to. I used this bag in 8 degrees Celsius in the UK and found it quite comfortable, but even then, I was wearing clothes inside the bag,I would be very hesitant about using this bag in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius.One of the problems it has, is whilst there is plenty of room inside, to keep you warm, the material doesn't have sufficient weight to place the bag in contact with your legs and feet. I found performance increased dramatically if another bag was placed on top of this to push the bag down to keep it in contact with your lower legs.As with most bags I have owned, the zip finally became permanently jammed and had to be broken in order to un-free it, rendering the bag no longer usable.In terms of value for money, it is superb and probably the best cheap sleeping bag I have ever owned.

I am sure there are better, lighter four-seasons sleeping bags than this one, but for the price I was pleased. It appears to be of good quality and packs down reasonably small (the compression bag helps a lot with this). It is very comfortable and roomy enough for someone of my size (five foot eight and 11 stone). The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because I am a bit sceptical about the “comfort at -6C” claim on the label. I used it recently in a tent when the night-time temperature was about 0C and felt warm but only just, despite having all the zips done up and the hood on. A couple of times in the night I awoke and thought “am I starting to feel a bit cool?”. However, I was lightly dressed, so a couple of extra layers would have fixed the problem. Wouldn’t want to risk it at -6C” though without an extra blanket or two. Also, the bag is a bit too big and heavy to be practical for most hiking/climbing purposes, although fine if space and weight are not issues.

Bought this to use on my winter wild camps. Took it out on the weekend for the first time and it did the job perfectly. Room was a little tight, im not that tall or wide and was a bit of a hassle getting in and out but it kept me comfortably warm all night. I used a liner for extra warmth and ended up being too hot after a while! Only downside is the size, it's quite big and quite weighty, and as we were backpacking it took up a lot of room in my 60l rucksack. For the price though this is a really decent sleeping bag, just be prepared to have sore shoulders from carrying it on your back whilst you're out!

He comprado este saco para ir de camping con unos amigos y la verdad que he quedado super satisfecho.Es un saco estilo momia muy calentito y ligero.Yo mido 1.74 y entro bastante justo pero mucho mejor así al moverse no te enreda el saco,he de decir que dormi con el en el monte en el mes de enero y el tiempo no era muy apacible aun así he llegado a pasar hasta calor ,a la hora de recogerlo si sois un poco curiosos lo intruducereis a la primera en su funda que tambien he de decir es batante curioso.

Prima di tutto i dati nella foto sono errati, quelli "veri" sono: Upper 6° Comfort -5° Lower -12° Extreme -31°.Secondo la temperatura confort di -5 è decisamente ottimistica: premetto che non sono un tipo freddoloso, ho dormito in tenda sopra un tappetino isolante in intimo termico, sopra una tuta sportiva , calzettoni di lana e cappello con temperatura esterna che durante la notte ha toccato come minima 0°... Se le temperature dichiarate fossero state reali nelle mie condizioni avrei dovuto sudare, invece ho dormito bene senza soffrire né caldo né freddo.

Aktualisierung:Ich habe für mich als weibliche Frostbeule einen Schlafsack für die kühlen Nächte gesucht.Mein Partner hat ihn zuerst für sich bestellt.Besonders klein ist der Schlafsack nicht, aber was will man auch erwarten wenn man eine Komfort-Bereich von -7 Grad angegeben hat.Dem Packsack entnommen, füllt er, wenn man ihn locker reinlegt, eine Ikea-Kiste (65L), in der er zwischen den Nutzungen gelagert wird.Nach der ersten Übernachtung in einem Haus ohne Dach nur mit Folie bei etwa 2 Grad habe ich mit Fleece-Inlay angenehm war geschlafen.Einziger Minuspunkt. Der Reißverschluss verhakt sich beim zumachen von innen oft im Zuglufzschutz.Da muss man oft neu ansetzen und mein Freund hat zb im Schlafsack nicht immer den Raum den Arm als Rechtshänder so zu bewegen, wie er wollte, um den Schlafsack zu schließen

Articolo arrivato con un giorno di anticipo... devo dire che funziona molto bene,usato con temperature che oscillavano da -1 a 8 mai sentito freddo, la cosa importante è che si deve isolare con un materassino... prodotto consigliato!!!

mi ha davvero sorpreso come acquisto e ho azzardato nello scegliere un sacco a pelo, che non era ancora recensito,per un camping in islanda.E' a dir poco caldissimo e comodissimo!! ovviamente considerando le caratteristiche il prezzo è davvero stracciato..altri brand li vendono a piu del doppio!!mi sento fortemente di consigliarlo...la temperatura piu bassa dove è stato utilizzato è stata 3 gradi e devo dire era come dormire nel letto di casa :):)uniche pecche il peso e la cerniera che ogni tanto si inceppa..per il resto sono davvero soddisfatta

Un saco con muy buenas relación calidad-precio. Es un saco bastante pesado y voluminoso, pero es perfecto por ese precio. Al sacarlo de la funda compresora parece que se hinche, lo cual es una muy buena señal. Tiene muy buenos acabados y la textura interior es muy agradable.

A la espera de hacer pruebas en real este fin de semana en Tordesillas con mucho frio, espero que cumpla con las especificaciones que describe, no pienso llegar a esos extremos - 31º C, con los - 5º C de confort me conformo.

Una auténtica maravilla de saco. Es una sauna. Acabados de lujo. El precio es muy asequible. Su fabricación esta repleta de cuidadosos detalles agradables. Nada que ver con los productos de la competencia, en su mismo segmento de precio.

Un saco que abulta un monton,eso si,tiene pinta de ser super caliente,no se si a bajo 0 se estara bien con el,pero parece que si.los materiales son excelentes,y las costuras duras. La unica pega el volumen y quizas el peso,pero claro,si lo quieres tan calentito te tienes qje fastidiar...4.5 le pondria

Un sacco a pelo pesante in tutti i sensi. Ci ho dormito nella foresta finlandese alla fine di agosto con una minima intorno allo 0 e sono stato caldissimo. Decisamente ottimo come rapporto qualità prezzo

Lo he probado y se duerme muy calentito la verdad. Es un poco estrecho para mi gusto pero imagino que es la forma de conservar mejor el calor corporal.

Es muy pequeño! Mido 1’70 y soy mujer y me cuesta subirme la cremallera. Los pies muuuy juntos y para moverse es imposible. Lo e usado dos veces y termino habiéndolo del todo y usándolo como “edredón “.

Voici un excellent sac de couchage qui vous suivra partout, du moment qu'il ne fait pas trop chaud.L'isolation thermique est bonne et on peut vraiment l'utiliser partout.Lorsqu'il fait plus de 15° c'est un peu trop chaud, donc il vaut mieux dormir avec le sac ouvert pour éviter de cuire ...L'ergonomie est bonne, la taille est parfaite pour moi (je mesure 176cm) et il y a encore de la marge.Le seul défaut serait le poids général qui peut peser un peu selon la distance à parcourir.Sinon c'est que du bonheur.

El saco es muy bueno, pero si eres un tío grande no vas a entrar, es demasiado estrecho para tíos con un poco de músculo.Para los delgaditos iré perfecto supongo.

Ottimo sacco a pelo, caldo e comodo, arrivato in perfetto orario e ottimo imballaggio!Rapporto qualità prezzo il migliore, lo proverò prossimamente a basse temperature se non sarà all'altezza modificherò la mi recensione.
