5000 LED Flashlight (Black)

I’m very happy with my purchase! The item arrived in great condition and met all my expectations. It looks just like the pictures and feels well made. I’m satisfied with the quality and overall experience, and I would definitely consider buying from this seller again.

This is a new Pelican model for me. When you hold this item in your hand, you know you’re holding a quality item. The click tail cap is crisp. The slide adjustment for the flood or spotlight works well. I like the size of this light and the brightness. I rarely use this light, but when I grab for it I am always impressed by how much light output it delivers.

Very good light Worth the price

Like most Pelican products, this flashlight is no exception. It is well thought out, and manufactured. The beam focusing end-cap is a handy feature, that allows you to focus your light WHERE you NEED it. I have found that out in the field, in real-world conditions, I go through at least one battery change per week. It's not terrible, but if you're not paying attention, you'll be swapping batteries at a most inconvenient time. This particular light would benefit from being spec'd for AA not AAA batteries. However, Pelican has made monitoring your battery status easy (sometimes you miss the fact that your beam is growing ever more dim). In the tail-cap, there is a handy LED that phases from green to amber to red. Swap your batteries when your LED goes red, and you're all set, wait just a little too long, and adios, flashlight! The only other flaw, other than it eats batteries, is that the O-ring in the focusing end-cap is inaccessible. I'd really like to take mine apart and clean and lube the ring (dropped it in a slurry with fine aluminum particles), for a longer service life...if anybody has any hacks for this, please share 'em! Would I buy this again? If it were the only flashlight in its class. There's other options out there, but this one is not a bad choice at all.

The Pelican 5000 LED Flashlight body is rugged and the beam is bright, adjustable and long-lasting. The switch is crisp and easy to manage. Batteries are readily available. Every wish is fulfilled including the removeable clip. This is the best, replaceable forever. Thank you, Pelican!

This flashlight replaced the previous model. But it's not as good for Carry, but it does function better.

Lightweight a definite plus. Easy to carry. Not bulky. Sacrifice some intensity of beam As only using two batteries

Nice and durable little flashlight. Dropped it in a puddle in the rain walking the dogs and it didn’t fail; I couldn’t be happier with it.

Perfect pocket flashlight. I am a marine engineer and use my flashlight a lot in a day. The ability to adjust the beam and the overall durability of a pelican is well worth the money. Not to mention it is sufficiently bright.

I like the high quality Pelican offers, the last ones last 4 years and had been use everyday with ton of drops. :-)
