Kindergarten Beginning Word Games Workbook

These books are actually fun. We get the books well below my sons reading level just to give him a chance to have fun with words, improve handwriting, engage his mind in some minor puzzles, and spend some quality time together. This is our third Sylvan workbook and what really sets them apart for us is how much fun they are. Contrast with Brainquest stuff, which is so extensive and boring even I hate to sit down and do it with my son. My son is young and handwriting is a developing skill, so anything that makes practicing fun is so much better than those pages of copying letters that so many other books rely on. Recommended.

I bought this kindergarden book for my daughter but she needs a preschool book instead, I will save this for her next grade level it surely covers academic English for kindergardeners. This book came a day early & with no damage. very happy.

This workbook was a lot of fun for my 5 yr old before she started Kindergarten. It would also be great for children already in Kindergarten needing extra practice. It is based on learning the sounds words begin with and leads to learning to read.

This is my son's favorite workbook and he has quite a few to choose from. This one is fun because it has mazes, crosswords, and other fun games.

This is a terrific book for ESL students. I recommend any of the Sylvan learning books for teaching ESL. Great buy!
