Seem small at first, but they stretch and make the headphones look and feel like new.
These earpads are smaller than the ones that came with the Sony headphones. This means there is less room around the ear, making them a slight bit uncomfortable at first. But this is not a real problem, just something to get used to. They are also flatter. Overall, however, the headphones are now like new.REVISION (a couple years later): For the last few years, I have ordered (and re-ordered) what have been described as replacement earpads for Sony MDR-7506 headphones. I am not convinced that the various pairs of 7506's I own are EXACTLY the same size. I am even less convinced that the earpad replacements I have received are either EXACTLY the same size or even the same product. I think the failing here (and I assume this is intentional) is on the part of Amazon's not policing the descriptions of its products as it should.More specifically, however, these earpads have really worked for me. The headphones look and feel brand new after affixing the new pads. "Installation" so to speak is difficult. The fit is VERY tight--so tight that I think some reviewers (initially I was among them) assume they are too small. They probably are not, you just have to work at it.The earpads stretch. They need to be tight so that they will remain in place during use. Work them on with something flat (not too sharp) all the way around until they snap on. Then be sure to tuck the edge of the earpad into the slot just in front of the outer plate of the ear cup.For some earphone sets (and I own several) the earpads have outlasted the small wire on the headphones that naturally wears through (the wire going through the small sleeve on each side). But for the price, you cannot go wrong with these little earpad replacements. Also be prepared for what MIGHT be a long delivery time. I was told they would not arrive for a month after I ordered them. Then, they showed up three days later (another Amazon issue). However, I have found no source that is (eventually) as reliable as this product.

Close, but not exactly the same as Sony MDR-7506 ear pads.
I was initially skeptical about the product. Almost every other seller I looked into was selling each ear pad separately. I didn't see in the listing if this was for a single pad or both. So, I shot a quick email to the seller asking for clarification. They got back to me in under 24 hours that it was indeed for BOTH ear pads! I was stoked to say the least. Such a low price for a pair? Heck YEAH! So I placed the order and in about a week they arrived all the way from mainland China. So far, so good. I busted out my Sony MDR-7506 Studio Monitor headphones and removed the old, tearing ear pads. The first thing I noticed was that these replacements felt, looked and are in fact ever so slightly smaller than the stock pads. I started getting a little worried, but I continued none the less. It took me a little while to finesse them on, and once I did, it was obvious that the were just a tad smaller. HOWEVER.... after a day on the cans, they have stretched to better fit, they are nice and snug, not sliding around like the stock pads were want to do. The only REAL difference is that they do not have the foam padding that goes over the actual speaker part of the headphone like the stock pads do, but I noticed no difference in sound quality or comfort. I am EXTREMELY happy with this product and the seller as well.

These are not perfect but they work
These are not perfect but they work. They were a very tight fit putting them on and you have to pull on them with a scary amount of force to fit on the MDRV6 not because it is difficult to do but because you are afraid you might rip them. The genuine Sony version might be similar in this regard though, not sure. In the end I did get them on and they seem strong enough and didn't rip at all. I am writing this review now mostly to tell people the expected life in constant, heavy daily use over several hours per day [which is pretty HARD use for the average Joe]: 2 years almost exactly. That's quite reasonable considering the very low price. They are still working fine now however every few days I notice black flakes on my ears because the outer material which protects the foam is starting to flake off. For markedly more money things like the Beyer EDT250V earpads don't have this problem but you have to consider they are like 10x the price.

Well worth the effort.
At first seemed hopeless to get them on... but having read other reviews with people saying to just be patient, it can be done... I proceeded. They went on just fine... fit is perfect and feel and appearance is A+. Don't give up at first try.If you dexterity is not the best... let someone who is good at such things do it.I stretched them onto the earphones beyond the lip which the skirt of the ear cushions is to slip into and then pulled them back to where the skirt went into the slot or was helped by me by pushing it in with a thin card. I started at the longest point... and holding it in place with one finger of the hand holding the ear piece... proceeded with the other hand to progressively stretch the ear cushion onto....from that point. Someones help to hold...would make this a lot easier I'm sure. It is well worth the effort once completed. The reward is definitely there for having done it yourself... and the price can't be beat for the qualityI found it necessary to release each ear piece in turn from the headband though....by pulling apart slightly on the clamping / pivot bracket that attaches into the earpiece. It made it easier not having them in the way because my hands are large.

not same as original pair
i have the MDR -V6, which these replacement earfoams are for, and the original earfoams worn out. the 'leather' started to flake off after about one year. every time i wore them and took them off i had black specs around my ears and in my hair.So i ordered these.they do fit on the headphones. they feel good to the touch.BUT!they are smaller than the originals and after about 30 minutes my ears [my actual ear, not inside] start to hurt. Before i could wear my headphones for hours. So cuz of this, sadly, i am looking for a new pair of headphones.

Replacement Earpads Earfoams for Headset, Compatible with MDR7506 MDRV6 MDR-7506 MDR-V6
These earpads do not fit tightly and so contantly fall off. I have recently tried to keep them on with rubber bands and cable ties but they are not enough like the originals to be good.

Good replacement earpads - very comfortable
Very happy with these earpads. I bought these actually to replace the original pads on a set of TASCAM TH-MX2 as I was finding the original earpads hot and uncomfortable after as little as 20 minutes of wearing them.I was not sure if they would fit the TASCAM's but for the price I thought I would take a chance. It was a good decision. The replace pads are slightly smaller than the originals for the TASCAM TH-MX2 but these earpads are stretchy and I was able to get them on easily and they are staying firm. The over-the-ear area has not decreased nor has their thickness changed due to the stretching. They are very comfortable - I have just worn them for 3 hours with no discomfort.I also have a set of MDR-7506 (which are awesome headphones) and these earpads seem identical to those on the MDR-7506's - same texture, padding, etc. These replacement pads would definitely work on the SONY's.I like the TASCAM TH-MX2 headphones as well - I got them as I needed something less expensive for use around to house so as not to put the SONY's at risk. The problem with the TASCAM's was the discomfort and a slight over emphasis in the low to mid bass. Using these replacement earpads actually fixed both problems - the comfort level was greatly improved - and somehow the change in bass has occurred losing the over emphais - a change in resonance I suspect and the TASCAM's now seem more balanced - something I hadn't expected. On different headphones the results might be different. For the SONY models listed I suspect these earpads would not change the fidelity at all.I did not measure the before and after of the leakage of sound. The TASCAM's before had fantastic sound isolation - at the expense of comfort. I suspect that these earpad's do allow more sound leakage. For my use of the TASCAM's this is not an issue for me.

Last but not least der Preis: ich habe inkl.

Fits well the MDR-7506
I got these and yes they are smaller then the originals from Sony, but they do fit my MDR-7506 nicely. I have not have a chance to play around with my headphones yet, but the little that i have tried, the pads do stay on and do not fall off. The center part of the headphone look likes its missing a little bit of padding, but that's about the only difference that i can notice. Pretty happy with the product and very fast shipping. Shipping from China to Canada took about 2 weeks. Its my first time ordering something from China and this is impressive. Don't hesitate to buy a pair if your pads are looking like they need replacing, these ones are pretty good.
