Clotted Cream - Plain (6 ounce)

I had clotted cream for the first time this summer in England and I fell in love with it. This is as good as what I ate in England. I do think it is rather expensive but I just had to have it. I probably won’t order it too often unless I found a cheaper price.

This product was exactly what I remembered from living in England. Great taste and appearance.If only they had mailed it before the day it was supposed to be received, I could have used it for it's intended purpose and shared it with my friends visiting from the UK.If only I had received the promised refund, this could still have been a positive revue.Unfortunately, neither of those things happened. Great product, lousy customer service.

I would strongly recommend this paired with any kind of fruit or berries. Its like whipped cream but more flavorful and thicker in consistency. It's good on bread or scones as well as long as you spread on a generous amount otherwise it will be similar to butter.

I enjoyed it very much, too bad you need to finish it a few days after opening or else gets clumpy. It's very tasty and not too sweet

The media could not be loaded. The item arrived curdled and smelling sour. It did not mix smooth as clotted cream should. It tasted bad. The bottle says to keep refrigerated and it was sitting in the sun after delivery. The cap also did not feel secure as the top did not make a popping sound when opened. I am disappointed because I paid a premium price to get this and we can’t use it.

I was eager to try this clotted cream after reading about it in books and magazines (silly perhaps, but gourmet curiosity on my part). I enjoyed the creamy taste, but was a bit disappointed in the flavor - just wasn't unusual or special like I imagined it would be.I'm sure if you already know clotted cream, then you won't be disappointed. And the jar of clotted cream is handy for storing until you're ready to use it, unlike a fresh cream. I gave it a 4, rather than 5 because it wasn't quite what I expected.

The dry ice it was packed in was damaged and the clotted cream was warm. This item is not available for return so will never order again. Total fail for this expensive item. Would give a minus star if I could.
