Aqua Care Cream, 2.5 Ounce Tube

This is a product that, thankfully, Numark bought the patent for when the original company discontinued it. I have recommended this to many people. It contains 10% urea, which helps hold in your own natural moisture. I have seen farmers whose hands were cracked and bleeding come back to my store 2 weeks later with normal hands. I do have one warning about it. Do not expect to use this cream and then wash your hands anytine soon after that. It will just make them feel slimey. That drawback keeps nurses or anyone who needs to wash their hands frequently from using it in between times. It's best to wait until the end of the day to use it. It also works wonderfully to soften calluses on heels! The smell isn't what I would call nice, but it goes away fairly quickly. It's always okay to use a little lotion or cream that you do like the scent of after it to disguise it. But if you do use it on your feet, remember that "slimey" warning, for if you walk on a slippery surface, you could slip and slide! There are other creams that have greater percentages of urea in them on the market. But when you go above 10%, the smell becomes harder to stand. This cream isn't your fluffy, foufou type handcream, it's a workhorse of a cream to rescue your hands or whatever from damage, and to prevent heels or help chronically dry skin repair itself. Good stuff. I order it by the dozen so I do not run out. By the way, it comes in a box, but there has never been a seal on the tubes. It also weighs less than expected. While I guess it's possible to get a used tube sold to you, it's probably just that the weight doesn't seem like there's enough in the tube. But the upside is, a little does quite a job.

This product works very fast for dry feet. It was recommended by my dermatologist. It goes on, absorbing into my feet. Doesn’t feel greasy. I use at night and before putting on my socks, for all day moisturizing. Highly recommend. Just be careful when getting in the shower as your feel will fell slippery as the lotion is being washed off.

Update to what's below: I'm pretty confident I bought a used tube of the cream. I noted when I opened the box that there was no seal on the tube. Also it's pretty noticeable that the tube isn't full. For this reason I'm changing my original review. I can't be sure, but if others that use this had a seal on their cream, pls let me know. I won't buy from this seller again. Very upsetting. This stuff isn't cheap! I knew this when writing my initial review but decided not to say something in case I was wrong. But today, I'm more confident. Product is 5* I've used the lotion for years. I just ordered the cream and I've used it several times. It's very thick. Not greasy or oily. But it goes on thick and it absorbs fairly quick and leaves a tacky feeling as it absorbs. Hard to explain but it doesn't spread like lotion. It's got a more pasty feel to it. So far it's helped my dry skin, Eczema and Keratosis Pilaris.

I am a fan of the “old formula” and have been for years. The tubes I purchased in August of 2024 are nowhere near as effective as the old formula. Will use what I bought but I will not repurchase this new formula again.

I am so happy that Amazon carries this product! I use this for problem areas like feet and elbows. It works well and is not greasy. I exfoliate my feet first then apply the cream. It's a wonderful product. To me the Aqua Care lotion feels better on the rest of my body and I reserve the cream for my feet and elbows. You don't have to use much, so it is relatively economical. (The fragrance is more medicinal than anything, like the lotion).

I have used Aque care for years in the winter. But for the past 3-4 years no one in our area will handle it. So I decided to try the internet and was glod I found it. I have very senisive hands and have only found 3 kinds of hand cream I can use. The best being Aque care. Which keeps my hands nice and soft all winterl. Hope you keep handling it. Sonja Crichton

This is the best hand cream on the market! I have used it for years. If you have dry hands, try AquaCare hand cream. Once you use it regularly for a few days, you will be hooked. My doctor actually first told me about it, and I have used it ever since. Thank you for carrying this product on your website! Excellent!

So pleased to find this cream. It was recommended to me by my Dermatologist for an acute skin problem. It did not disappoint. Works well on very dry skin.
