Yes, you may put several on around the area of pain. If 4 relieves the pain you can experiment the next time with fewer to find the optimal number. If you place these on clean and dry skin, they will stay attached for several days. They are waterproof.

How long will these work? As long as they stick or will they stop working after a few hours?

It depends. The average usage is 2 to 3 days. But have not used this for quite a while now because sometimes my skin gets irritated.
