These books are a great resource!

So far this study guide is great! I really liked the fact that there are video links in each section that further explained difficult topics. I do my best learning through hearing and watching, so the videos really helped. If/when I decide to take any further TExES tests, I will definitely be purchasing the study guide for that test through Mometrix to help me prepare. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is unsure of what will be asked of you during the actual exam. There is a full length practice test and a lot of helpful tips and tricks throughout the book to help you through the exam.

This is my 4th mometrix study booklet. I like them because of the videos that you can access, the breadth of material, and the tests at the back with answers behind it. I have passed all four of my tests using these (these aren't the only things i have used, I use them in conjunction with other sources).WARNING: These booklets don't get great reviews because they don't go in to great depth. The material is all there, but it's not going to be very deep, or dispel any confusion. If you are not a self starter and don't research what you don't know or are confused about, these aren't your books. It also doesn't give any practice problems embedded. There are some typos, but that doesn't really matter. They are solid books for a base, but you'll have to put in work.

The Test Booklet came via priority mail within 2 days of ordering. Therefore, it may not be necessary to get the quickest shipment option, unless you need it the next day. I scored 10 of 10 of my Earth Science questions correctly on my exam and only studied this guide. The physics portion of the book is weak, but chemistry, biology, and earth sciences review sections are adequate for passing. Highly recommend review. Not cheap, but everything is compact, contained in one booklet

The test taking secret keys located at the back of the reviewer is a great help especially on how to prepare and create a test-taking mindset that will be beneficial to any test taker. A highly recommended brand and reviewer.

I wish this had practice tests. The information is really good and covers a lot, but I really was hoping to be able to periodically test myself throughout the study process. I haven't taken the test yet, but I'm having to buy another book to really feel ready.

Got this for my husband, along with the booklet with various practice tests, and it prepared him well for his test. He majored in Biology, without having taken college classes in astrology and geology, yet he passes his test on his first try and credits this prep-book.

I guess this would be helpful if you basically already know the information. I won't know until after I take the test whether the questions are really reflective of the test. The majority of the book is badly written summaries of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I'll continue to read through it, gleaning all the Physics (my weakest area) info I can, and I'll take the practice test. I'll give my final analysis of this book after I take the exam in a couple of weeks.
