This stuff is the best.
This is my favorite insert glue. Holds very strong but you don't have to destroy carbon shafts if you need to remove or adjust an insert. Other glues either just don't hold or they require you to use extreme temps to remove the inserts, which is fine for aluminum but dangerous for carbon shafts, which is all I shoot! I've lost inserts and collars to foam targets using other glues, but I haven't lost any while using this stuff! It seems to stay softer than other glues, which I believe helps it retain its stickiness as well. And the blue color makes it easier to see the coverage you're getting on the insert. The clear or amber stuff doesn't do as good of a job staying visible on the shiny insert.

Excellent hot melt for carbon arrows
This is an excellent low temp hot melt glue. Previously I was using another brand of hot melt and while I was removing some points I noticed how hot I needed to get the point before I could remove it - which can damage carbon arrows. The Bohning 1308 melts at a much lower temperature making it a lot easier to install and remove points and there is no difference in holding strength that I have seen so far. Good stuff and the price is very right !!

The best!
Great product from the only name in the archery hot-melt business! I’ve used regular Fer-L-tite for decades and rarely a failure, but this low temp version is great for carbon and aluminum arrow inserts! I use the regular version for wood arrows only. DONT USE HI TEMP ULTRA FAST CURING SUPER GLUE TYPE PRODUCTS FOR CARBON ARROW INSERTS! I learned that the hard way. It requires too much heat and will ruin the shaft trying to extract that stuff. This is the BEST CHOICE!

SO much better than the old stuff.
I never had issues with the old style hot melt until recently. But whether it was a change in arrows or heavier inserts, new target designs? I don't know, I just couldn't keep them in. Had to resort to permanent glues. (preeminent of rest ruining the arrows attemtping to get them out and even then weakening them in the process) For the heck of it I tried this stuff, which melts at a lower temp and seems to stay softer than the other stuff, but it's been great. No slipping inserts since switching to it.

Easy to use and holds strong
I used this hot melt for the first time because I wanted to experiment with different arrow weights. It was easy to use with just a lighter to heat the insert and melt the glue. I also easily removed an insert by heating a field point and pulling it out with pliers. Since building a dozen new arrows (Easton Axis 5mm w/brass inserts), I have shot each hundreds of times with no issues. I will continue to use this method over epoxy.

I love this stuff for building arrows!
Great quality glue and provides a great hold for glueing arrow inserts. The glue isn't too sticky and is super durable. The price was a good value for this!
