Pool safety rail cover
I really like how this helps keep the handrail not so hot. Only problem is it fades extremely quickly. Unit is not removable either as I attempted to remove mine hi there so how long have you been

Leaving me Blue-less!
I was expecting a very nice rich blue color and instead I got one that looks more like seafoam green. I know this doesn't impact the functionality of the item...but as this is my third one and blue is my favorite color....well, you can color me disappointed with the change in color.Otherwise...as this is our 3rd one...you can tell me like it! In the heat of the Florida sun, it does tend to fade and fray after about a year but not much we can do about that!

Best Rail Cover I've Used So Far
This rail wrap was extremely easy to install, the color blends with the pool color beautifully and it is the perfect price and size. I cannot vouch for durability, but if it lasts 2 seasons in our hot Arizona sun, I will be thrilled. :)

Will not hold up
I had higher hopes for this pool rail cover then it was able to deliver. It didn't even last the season! I had to remove it today before it became hazard for my pool. Holes begin to appear and with the passage of each day they grew larger and larger I presume from the sun breaking down the fibers. Pieces of the foam underneath began to fall off into the pool and I didn't want it to cause a blockage; also the cover was no longer stable to provide a strong surface for gripping. As I took the cover off everything disintegrated into a black powder. What a disappointment! This product is far too expensive to worry about replacing every season. I wish I could get my money back but it's far too late for that now. Buyer beware.

Lasted 2 summers in Phoenix, AZ
I bought 2 of these 2 years ago in June. I loved this product for the first summer. It installed easily, did what it was supposed to, and looked good at the same time. The second summer they were a little faded but still intact and useful. This was today. So they lasted exactly 2 summers in Phoenix, AZ. I never removed them because we use our pool almost year round so that's over 700 days in the direct sun. I'm not sure if I would buy again, but if I did I would probably only keep them on during the hottest times when they provide the most help. Even when they faded they were still better than the metal handles that can cause 3rd degrees burns.

Seems Well Built and heavy duty enough to do the job
I wasn't quite sure what to expect in regards to the quality of my new swimming pool handrail but I am pleasantly surprised. The chrome is shiny and the bends are pleasantly smooth. If I had any issue, it's with the written directions. They indicate you need a 13 mm concrete drill. I don't think those exist in the United States but the seller thought ahead and included a 1/2 concrete drill bit which is about the same. The instructions say to mark the spots for the four holes to anchor the handrail to the deck but that never works out based on my years of experience. No matter how careful you are, if you are off a little bit on the second hole, you'll never get it to fit so...i endorse drilling the first hole, set the anchor and screw it down. Then move the opposite end of the base and make your mark, slide the base to the side, drill the hole, set the anchor and tighten it down. Then make your mark for hole 3, unscrew the last bolt, slide the base out of the way, drill, set the anchor move the base back into place and screw all three down. Finally, make a mark for the 4th hole, unscrew 2 screws, move the base out of the way and do your thing. That way, it will easily screw down tightly to the concrete deck- your anchor holes will line up the holes in the base. Their instructions make me think the guy who wrote the included instructions never actually installed one of these!
