It’s simple, effective, and does exactly what you expect it to do without unnecessary features. Personal thought: The main downside is that it really only has one heat setting, so there isn’t much customization. That said, it still performs consistently, and it’s the one I always pack when I travel because I know I can rely on it. Overall, it’s a solid, dependable tool that’s stood the test of time.

I have always loved the Chi brand to straighten my hair. I’ve owned multiple over the past 20+ years. I have very curly hair and I tend to let it dry naturally the day before I straighten it and this Chi can still handle all my curls. Most of my hair is nice and silky smooth and straight after one pass! I can’t believe how healthy it looks after straightening! It takes me about 10-12 minutes to do my entire head of hair and I have a lot! This Chi is lightweight and the cord swivels which makes handling the straightener easy peasy!

I have forgotten the art of a simple thing. This is great. No bells and whistles and I like that it's not too long where it doesn't fit in my drawer. Hopefully it lasts forever!

I've owned a few Chi straighteners in the past and this one does not seem as good as the red one I got. Serves the purpose but I need to heat longer

It heats up quickly and leaves hair smooth and shiny in just a few passes. It doesn't pull the hair and feels like good quality. I've used it several times and it works perfectly. Highly recommended.

This is a great product for the price. This tool is lightweight and reliable. My hair looks smooth and it doesn’t take me very long to straighten my hair (I have a lot of hair and its frizzy). I trust this brand.

Pretty good quality, speed of straightening. Should have temp control but doesn’t. And end wiring connection seems fraught with disaster; the connections seem to be a problem with these. This one seems like it needs more of an improved heavy duty wire connection.

Yay! Happy to find this online, I’ve had mine from who knows how long. Literally my ideal straightener and it was THE straightener to have back in my days. Mine still has lasted, they were made so well the quality is impeccable. I am hoping that they are still made the same and hope this newly purchased one for my daughter it lasts as long as mine has.

This is a nice tool. Gets hot quick, has on/off button (some reviews say it doesn’t??). Works just great.
