Great stuff- not just for dyeing clothes!
I’m on my 5th purchase. I originally bought this when I was dyeing some shirts a few years back (pandemic hobby lol), but now I use it more often for new clothing that bleeds color (especially purple colors seem to bleed like crazy) Last week I purchased a shirt (tec gear) from a local kohl’s store and thank goodness I hand washed it first because it filled the sink with brownish purple water that would have stained my other laundry. The color never seemed to stop coming so I added a capful of this and some hot water- amazing how it stopped the bleed! I’m now confident to launder the shirt with my other clothes in the future without fear of damaging everything! Easy to use with perfect results, especially if you’re buying clothes online from foreign retailers for those cheap prices- trust me, hand wash those capris leggings first to make sure they don’t bleed dye, but if they do just add this and it’s fixed 👍

Rit Dye..
Worked great and what I needed to dye blue and it came out really pretty and the color is still in it after several washers. Rick is a great brand to buy if you want to color clothes.

This product worked for me
I died two pair of black shorts because they had white bleach marks on them. After dying them black, I had to use this color stay so that the shorts would not fade or that the bleach stains would not return. So far, everything is fine.

GET THIS if you are dyeing fabric!
Save yourself the headache and just get this if you are planning to dye anything. I used the same RIT dye without it and... never again. The dye never seems to wash out entirely and requires so many rinses that I felt like I was wasting a ton of water. The dye also does seem to wash out and fade pretty much immediately. I saw the color of my garment before washing and loved it, but was disappointed at how much lighter it actually turned out. If that is what you're going for, you can skip this I guess, but the amount of water you'll use rinsing is just scary. This totally stops that and locks the color in. The residual dye washes out super fast and doesn't leave a bunch of residue behind. The color stays super vivid through repeated washings.

Decent
So so. But looks good enough so that I didn't throw some clothing away. I also used the ColorStay Dye Fixative afterwards.

I was a skeptic but the RIT Fixative works! PHEW The nightgown kept bleeding the blue dye. I always use Colour Catchers with new garments. These nightgowns kept bleeding blue dye after 3 washings in laundry machine. Finally I bought the RIT Fixative and this problem is solved! Thanks RIT

I tried on 2 Ts and polyester shorts of black and dark maroon. It bleeds a little as described. After treatment, washed in cold water with a littler detergent and didn't see any colour bleeding.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!
