For me this furrie works - flickering / popping / hum TOTALLY eliminated. Phew.
in the studio there's a number of pieces of ac-plugged audio gear and ac-plugged monitors. We had a huge problem where: if someone in the building turned a light or appliance on or off, it would often cause one or more monitors to flicker, perhaps cycle, and you would get audio pops in amps, speakers, eq, dacs etc. and there was often hum all over the place. Unfortunately, with ground or power or ac noise or ground loop problems, unfortunately there are a NUMBER of different issues that can cause your flickering monitors or popping audio or humm. For this reason there's a huge amount of confusion on the issue and, it's a crap shoot whether any "particular" solution will actually solve your particular problem. Fortunately for us, this furman (215A model) did ABSOLUTELY, TOTALLY fix all the problems we were having. It now makes no difference if, in the rest of the house, light switches are thrown, vacuums turn on and off, etc etc. The build is rock solid, and now that I've used one, I would pay 2x as much if they put the price up - it's basically "must have" kit at a very fair price for the build quality. I literally love turning on the big solid switch every morning to power everything up! Furman should be proud, great piece of kit. Take all your crap $8 "surge protectors" and throw them in the bin at last ! Safety alert - as everyone should know YOU NEVER chain proper surge protectors, you'll start a fire. Thus when you plug in a power strip IT MUST BE a completely "vanilla" power strip that >>DOES NOT<< have surge protection. It's actually getting harder to buy "real" "vanilla" power strips with NO surge protection. You'll notice in the pic we went to home depot and bought a proper "builder's" power strip which is built like a battleship, it's fantastic, only about 30 bucks which is amazing. (So just TBC the "builder's" power strip indeed has no surge protection, it's just a "real" power strip, perfect.) Would never be without a power conditioner now, this is the only one I've owned but it's golden. Not ONE pop or flicker since.

Great unit!
This is a good little compact power conditioner and just what I needed for a small live sound mixer board and speakers. It gave me piece of mind to know my sound equipment was protected from Spikes and AC line noise. I've used Furman products for many years. They're well built and last a long time. My only take back here is I wished they would have made this a 15A load rating rather than a 10A. I highly recommend.

Fixed my issue
I have only had this for a few days now but I can say it 100% fixed the issue I was having. I live in an older house , 1940's, that has had many wiring configurations, changed from fuses to circuit breakers, panels added room additions etc. etc. It would be nearly impossible to correct all the different neutral / ground issues. . The problem I was having has been going on for years, buzzing thru my guitar amps. Not 60cycle but the buzz you get that goes away when you touch the guitar strings. All guitars & amps do this to one degree or another. This was extreme & to the point of being very annoying. Its an issue with AC being on the ground. It would sometimes be worse than other times & for some reason when it rained & at night it was worse. Anyway I bought the 215 because I saw some internal pictures & the inside actually had a few components in there, circuit board , capacitors , transformers. So I knew that was more than just a surge protector power / power strip. I really wasnt sure if this would help and was really doubtful that it would work. To my surprise this corrected all my problems that I have been putting up with for years. This unit actually Filters the power, cleans it up and my amps & guitars are more quiet than they have ever been. I will definitely be buying one or two more of these. My only real complaint would be that it only has 2 outlets but im sure there are other more expensive Furman units that have more outlets.

Another Satisfied Electric Guitar Player here
This device solved a major noise issue I was having with my Carvin NS1 electric nylon string guitar with Roland synth functionality. Practicing for a wedding gig 4 years ago, the Carvin through amp started to hum, and then crackle followed by a significant drop in volume. This occurred whether or not I had the synth hooked up. Also note that the noises were not the property of the amplifiers - when I unplugged the guitar, the noises were gone. I moved my operation to another room - the problem persisted in some but not so bad in others. I changed amplifiers - the problem persisted. Carvin guitars were bought by Kiesel and I was getting no tech response from the new company. I couldn't use the unreliable guitar for that gig and put it away. The Carvin electronics were apparently hyper-sensitive to something in the AC - none of my other electrics have had such serious noise issues and I played the gig just fine with a Chet Atkins Gibson Nylon String but had to forego the synth functionality I intended to use. I recently took the Carvin out again to find the problems didn't go away - even with a recent move to another state. I had a tech very familiar with the guitar have a go. He did control cavity work that reduced the hum and even eliminated it for some amplifiers BUT the crackles and unexpected volume drops persisted. I just about resigned to the idea that I would need to lose the guitar and purchase a Godin electric nylon if I wanted the Roland synth functionality the Carvin had. Recalling a friend who swore by power line conditioners - I thought it was worth a try. Furman was a familiar name and seeing the good review of this one from another guitarist having noise issues - I pulled the trigger. I am so glad I did. The Furman AC-215A saved me serious bux (i.e. the cost of a new guitar). My Carvin NS1 sound with amp plugged into the Furman is completely free of the hum, crackles, and volume drop issues. I just sounds great - I am extremely pleased!!

The auto protection is also a great feature. Runs perfectly silent and is nice and small. However, the pictures on the site advertised 1600W which is what I needed, not 1200W... but that's amazons fault not Furman, I learned this after calling Furman directly.

De acuerdo a las especificaciones del producto éste ofrece buen nivel de protección y reducción de ruido eléctrico… ya lo veré en épocas de lluvia. Sería preferible que tuviera más de dos entradas.
