Quite tasty, see warning!
Use with caution (and moderation) , it's quite strong. (Think wasabi) Adds some great flavor to pelmeni and other dishes.

The best mustard I've ever tasted! I hate it!
HOLY SMOKES!! This Mustard Kicks like a mule that's been stung by a wasp. This mustard will put hair on your chest, regardless of sex. Its so so good... heinously good. It tricks you because it IS so damn tasty... you want to eat it, you want to put a whole bunch on your sandwich, but that's how it tricks you. There is a fine line for this mustard, one you must walk or pay the price. One side is delicious wonderful spicy mustard... but a gram too much, and it will OBLITERATE your sinuses and leave you reeling in so much pain you wont know how to respond other then to bellow like a caveman. 10 out of 10! This mustard is a fantastic bastard!

Damaged like all the other reviews
Horrible! The mustard is amazing if you can actually get it. Unfortunately just like all the other reviews, it was shipped damaged, open and spoiled with mold.

Russian mustard
Tasty but spicy, I would spread a small amount on bread or sausage. But overall Good. Packaging was well done.

Right Russian Hot
When I was growing up in the SF Bay Area we got a Russian hot mustard at Safeway that I haven't been able to find as I moved around the country. This is very very close to that mustard. It differs only in a slightly different aftertaste than I remember, but I only noticed that when I tried the mustard straight out of the jar. The heat is from the mustard seed not from horseradish or chiles. That gives you a whole different heat sensation, and nasal passage opening experience for the other hot or spicy mustards that dominate US store shelves. A little goes a long way. Its not a typical "spicy brown" mustard. Its sweetness is subtle, and the "brown" earthy. We immediately planned meals to use this. It goes great with to meats such as brats, pork chops, and steaks. A small amount complements the meat flavor rather than hiding it.

Arrived unsealed and leaking, but it is just mustard
It arrived leaking and unsealed. The top off the mustard was dry and dark brown. I scraped off the top layer and the mustard seemed fine underneath... very authentic. Great tasting mustard. Proper spice and flavor.

Best mustard I have had by a long shot. However the potency is equivalent to wasabi, so do not put too much on unless you want to be crying
