The lock is easy to use and works perfectly! You create your own combination which can make it easier to remember. (Notice I said easier; thank goodness I wrote it down and didn't hide it too well from myself!)

This thing works fine. I always read 1 star reviews to see if it's fake 5 star reviews so I was a little worried but this lock worked absolutely fine. Instructions were clear and it was easy to set the code. Had no trouble with it on a recent trip. It's Master lock and TSA approved so I recommend it.

I bought two of these locks for both of my suitcases. I use one of them almost daily when I go to the gym. Never have had a problem with them (14 months later). The downside to this lock is that it does not look hefty. I imagine a bolt cutter or any decently strong tool would snap it in a second. Still, I go for the deterrence factor. My bags are not as easy to steal from with these locks on them. They are easy to open. I kind of wish it would be easier to twist sometimes (mainly for the lockers at the gym) but that is not a big deal. Small and lightweight so I store them in my backpack a lot. Another downside is that they are TSA compatible and that is why I bought them. I have never met a TSA agent with the universal key on them. Each time I am stopped, I have been required to open the locks. I have asked on many occasions why agents cannot open the suitcase since the lock is TSA compliant but have always received the answer that the key is somewhere else and I have to open the suitcase on my own (if they want to waste my time they could at least be prepared). I bought these locks partially for the compliance so that bothers me a bit...could have gotten a sturdier lock. I have never noticed my suitcase to have been opened and would not be surprised one day if the agents cut off the locks because the infamous universal key is nowhere around. Not a bad product, though, and it is a cinch to set the code. UPDATE: 2.5 years later and I lost my lock. I had left it unlatched after getting something out of it in an airport and it fell off somewhere. I was SUPER bummed. I know I was hesitant in my review because of TSA. The product, though, is great. I like the sense of security when I leave my bag on the tarmac, check it in (very rarely), or leave it at a hotel (in a room or at the front desk while I explore after checking out). I purchased another lock before I had even unpacked.

I received the Master Lock 4680DBLK TSA-Approved Luggage Lock (1-3/16-in. Wide) on time as scheduled. The small Amazon box containing this product and other products appeared well packed with no signs of damage. The pad lock looks quite small upon initial inspection. The plastic package contained one black colored three-digit combination padlock made of steel that is TSA approved. It appears well made and solid, but should be used with the expectation of light-duty security only. The packaging information even states the Security Level for this padlock is 2 out of 10, so know its limitations and use the padlock as such. I assume most people would be using this padlock to secure their travel luggage to keep passersby from quickly unzipping your luggage for access. The padlock will SLOW DOWN unauthorized people trying to access your luggage, but if they really want to get to your luggage contents all they have to do is use a simple light-duty cutter to remove the padlock. All the expectations out of the way, the padlock is a quality product from a long standing manufacturer. The padlock features a three-digit combination viewed from a unique easy-to-read side window that the user can easily change to their preferred number. If you're a first timer to Master Lock's procedure to change the three-digit combination number, it's best to read the included instructions. It's simple once you read it, but maybe wildly confusing if you don't. The padlock is TSA approved and is recognized in 29 countries globally, meaning TSA agents at airports can open this padlock with their special key to access your luggage contents for further inspection without destroying your padlock in the process. The padlock does have a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY by the Master Lock manufacturer. So if the padlock fails due to defects in materials or workmanship at any time during the life of the product, Master Lock will either repair or replace the product or part free of charge. So that's good. The bottom line: It's a solid well made product and it works for what it's intended use, so yes I highly RECOMMEND it!

Buen candado, al principio tenia mis dudas ya que el arco no entra por el lado corto, sino que el que entra y sale es el largo, pero ya en el uso fue excelente, se siente rígido al cerrarse y el sistema funciona muy bien, muy útil si viajas a Estados Unidos ya que no tienen que romperte el candado y dejar expuesta tu maleta en caso de revisión en el aeropuerto.

Es un gran candado pues es pequeño y muy seguro, ideal para viajes donde busques algo discreto pero que te asegure tus cosas sin problema; es muy fácil registrar tu combinación y fácil de andar con él para todas partes
