Meguiar's Ultimate Compound - Pro-Grade Car Scratch Remover, Paint Correction Compound That Removes Defects While Adding Gloss and Shine, Single Stage and Clear Coat Scratch Remove, 15.2 Oz

Mequiar's Ultimate Compound is highly touted as better than all the rest. I cannot attest to that having not tried others but I can say it did its job. I caused some scratches in the paint of my wife's black 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. The black accentuated the scratches. They were deep enough to barely feel with a fingernail and were visually noticeable. After buffing using a Harbor Freight (HF) Orbital Buffer with the HF applicator pad and just a little pressure, I wiped off the residue (without letting the residue dry as the instructions seemed to want) I buffed it with the polisher pad. This time with only slight pressure. The scratches were virtually gone. I had get very close to them to barely detect them. I showed my wife who has an eagle eye for any slight disturbance. She observed she could see the scratches on very close inspection, but were undetectable unless you knew they were there. That was it. I was out of the dog house. Happy wife, I recommend the product.

Worked great for fixing my self inflected touch up paint situation….I needed to wet sand some white touch up paint areas - which of course took a few layers of top coat off.I followed the instructions - after 2-3 applications of larger than described amounts on a foam sponge- viola - the clear coat issue was no more!It was a relatively quick process - for each area needing fixing.The product goes on smooth and is a light pink-ish color, helpful when removing the excess.Overall pleased with the product- great outcomes for money spent

I backed into the base of a light post and scratched my bumper pretty badly. I tried WD-40 first and it helped a little bit. I decided to try this product. I applied it with their namebrand pads. The scratches were so deep, that it didn’t do get all of them. But, it did help. It made the finish super shiny 👍🏼 I think it would work great on smaller, more shallow scratches.

I had a hard time removing sap from a tree from my car. Tried all kinds of cleaners to no avail. So I checked many products online and found on which works. A couple of rags and elbow grease my car shines again. I was surprised as all prior attempts just did not remove the black sap. Did not harm my clearcoat or paint which was a worry.

I cannot begin to tell you that Meguiar’s will always lead the car detailing market. We had some “Chemical Guys” spray ceramic end up on our car (our son) it left a HORRIBLE mess. Anything CG should be banned, such a scam. I used this compound and a polisher to buff the car back out and remove all the residue. Our vehicle is back to showroom shine. Meguiars literally has never failed me! It’s shiny and smooth. I highly recommend this and anything Gold Class, people are always amazing at how good my cars look without ceramic coatings.

Great product to get rid of minor scratches!! It won't work on the actual paint chipping which I knew before hand but it does great with the others and seen in the pictures! We used a microfiber cloth to rub it in and I think it looks better!

It gave the Car a great shine but did not remove the scratches.

Oddly enough, I bought this to clean the glass stove top on my stove and not my car. however, I use this and it did tremendous amount of work with a buffer on my stove top. It did more than a glass cleaning stovetop. Did I highly recommend this if you want to use this to clean your stove top? I have not tried it on my car yet and I am going to as soon as I can get a sunny day. I attached a before and after picture, please make sure you use a buffer this gets and scratches deeper to repair them. I bought mine off Amazon for $17 and was shipped the next day.
