Seche Clear Vite, Base Coat and Top Coat for Nail Polish

MAGIC. What is this sorcery? I used this top and base coat for the first time last night and they’re not kidding about the fast dry. I did 4..FOUR layers of a sheer nail polish thinking that it would never dry but based off of the reviews I read I was curious if it would work. Even after 4 layers of polish the top coat of this seche vite stuff started to dry and harden after a few minutes. (Apply when polish is still slightly tacky. Not wet.) After 10 minutes I could use my hands lightly. I actually ended up falling asleep on the couch about an hour after I did my nails and I woke up with no dents no marks nothing. My nails look perfect and just as glossy as the minute I applied the top coat. Typically products say “fast dry” or “super gloss top coat” etc. but this one actually lives up to expectations. I’m super surprised by this product. The only downside I can think of is that for people who are sensitive to smell, the top coat does have a very strong chemical smell but it fades once it’s dry. I always hated painting my nails because even after hours of letting them dry I’d wake up and they’d be ruined so it felt like a waste of time but this changes the game! Super super recommend.

I used to use Dior top coat bc it dried so fast and is so durable. Well, this brand is ever bit as good for 2/3 less the price! Works great!

I don't usually write reviews, but I've become so dependent on reading other reviews before I buy anything, I thought it would only be fair that I finally contribute. Maybe it's helpful to know that this is the first product that I'm compelled to review, and that's because this top coat actually does work as well and as fast as it claims. It really does feel like magic when using it. Past Experience: Before, I was stuck using top coat brands like Sally Hansen that claim to be fast or instantly drying, but three days later and I could still make a dent in my polish. I rarely painted my nails because the experience wasn't enjoyable, but I felt stuck with drugstore brands because I didn't know what else to use and a lot of other products seemed too expensive. After finally giving in and committing myself to doing some research, I found this one, as it came highly recommended but more importantly, the price is reasonable. Tips: When using the Seche Vite top coat, the top layer is solid and touchable in about 5 minutes, though I also give it a good half hour for safety before doing anything with my hands, because after that it feels like it's indestructible. With some practice, I would say the final results are better than anything I've gotten at a salon. You really just take a nice sized pearl of top coat and gently drag it across the polished nail before it starts to dry so that it forms a smooth layer. The key is getting a knack for the right amount to start with because if it's too little you'll disturb the polish, and if it's too much it'll bleed off your nail bed. If you're experiencing any chipping I would also recommend wrapping the tips of the nail with both your polish and the top coat. My nails last a lot longer that way. If you paint your nails a lot I would definitely also recommend getting the Seche Restore, because it helps expand the life of this top coat and also the life of your nail polish. Overall: I am finally able to enjoy the process of painting my nails and my nails are beginning to grow nice and long because I get to keep them polished. If you are curious about trying this I would say don't hesitate and try it. It works and it's cheaper than the brands that don't even work as well. The only downside may be the strong smell if you are sensitive to that. Oh, and I also can't ignore the chemical warning label about possible reproductive harm. If those two things are not deal-breakers than go for it. TL;DR section: Pros: -Does as it says and drys my polish in seconds -My manicure is smooth without ugly bubbles and dents -Lasts a long time without chips as long as you wrap the tip -Cheaper than drugstore brands like Sally Hansen -Economic option available to buy the Seche Restore that keeps one bottle of Seche Vite lasting forever -Your manicure will basically look like a gel manicure without the hassle of getting the lamp Cons: -Strong smell could be bothersome if you are sensitive -Ominous warning label is a tad troubling

I read an online article recently about top 10 beauty products every girl should have and this Seche Vite fast dry top coat was listed as one of them. I've been living abroad for about 4 years now so I wasn't too familiar with this brand and I've been doing my own nails for about 2 years now. I went on Amazon and read So Many positive reviews about this brand and how awesome it is! So many great reviews in fact that I thought I seriously had to try it for myself! First, I checked if this product was available in Seoul, South Korea and it was but for about 30-50 USD; but on Amazon a lot of sellers were pricing it at about 5 dollars a bottle! Such a deal, so I got the base coat and top coat duo for around 8 dollars plus shipping my total was less than 20 USD and it just arrived last night! Approximately 1.5 weeks later at standard international shipping--super fast!! PROS: -glides on easily and smoothly -base coat adheres to the nail polish color of your choice INSTANTLY and smoothly without any streaks or bubbles -top coat is thick and also goes on smoothly and evenly -ENTIRE NAIL IS DRY IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES!! <---Amazing! I usually do my nails at night and I have to wait at least an hour or so before attempting to go to bed and I'm always worried about sheet marks on my nails in the morning :( But with Seche Vite my nails were completely dry in seriously less than 5 minutes and SO SHINY and GLOSSY. I could even blow dry my hair and run my freshly painted nails through my hair right after! -Shiny, glossy, chip free nails (it's only been a day, but my nails look so fresh and professionally done! Usually even by the second day they are already a bit dull looking and not as shiny or glossy as when I first applied the top coat). -Easily removable with nail polish remover! This is a huge pro for me because if I paint my nails a dark or bright color (ie: red, hot pink, etc) the color smears as it comes off with nail polish remover. It takes me numerous times and cotton pads to remove it all, and even then there's a tint of the color left on my nail and surround skin. I always assumed this was bc some of my nail polishes weren't expensive or "nice" ones, just the dollar nail polish in a pretty shade, but after using Seche Clear & Seche Vite the color comes off in a clean single sweep (regardless of color) with no smearing or tinting. It's clean, easy, and super fast! I now realized the base and top coat are really important and the quality of the nail polish color doesn't matter as much. Definitely worth it to invest in a nicer base and top coat and have fun with less expensive nail polish colors! CONS: -Honestly, none really, I guess though you should be aware that the top coat has a really strong chemical smell when you apply it (but it goes away). Also, the base coat is more watery than I expected (I'm used to a thicker base coat consistency) but I think this helps the base coat act more like a bond/glue so your nail polish can adhere to your nail better. Overall, Seche Vite top coat and base coat has made an incredible impression on me. You will not be disappointed ladies, give it a try :)

In the description its writing that it come 2 packs of the nail polish and i just received only 1 pack.

I love it for keeping my manicure stay looking great for longer. It really dries quickly. Good for people that are always on the go!

Okay, Indian people. Rs. 1500 might sound a little too pricey for a top and a base coat set. But believe me when I tell you, it's a one time investement. This thing will last you a year and you can use any polish n it will make ur nails look like a movie star. In picture you can see this polish gives a ceramic like finish and I took this pic after 5 days of application. Did laundry cooked cleaned, and my nails still look pretty awesome.
