6 channels as adverised
I have purchased this item on last January. I am using this with my f&d 5.1 and asus laptop. It is delivering discreate 6 channel audio as mentioned. Still working without any issues. No noise or any disturbances. Simply does the job. Have nt tried 5.1 using optical cable as my home theatre supports only stereo over optical. Stereo works wellDraw back (If so)Does not support dolby.Recently I tried to activate dolby audio in windows using 'dolby access' and it says incompatible usb audio device connected. Means you can not experience dolby decoding using this device.

All 6 channels Work Perfectly Fine
The media could not be loaded. I tested all the six channel outputs separately using fraunhofer test, working fine.AUX input worked, SPDIF Optical input works fine. Optical out also is emitting light, although it looked initially like a screw (couldnot test though).Thanks to wowobjects for the reasonable price(1850). while offering 10 day replacement.only downside is that you cant probably use this without connecting to PC.The driver CD was unreadable though. Win 10 installed driver automatically, just had to select 5.1 from control panel.Note, you can adjust volume of individual speakers also if you install driver from internet

Good product does the job but?
The Chip can decode DD5.1 and DTS codec but you need to install an upgraded driver found in the net.Sound quality is excellent in analog form need to check through the Optical SPDIF form.

Gives 5.1 surrounded sound
I bought it on December 2020! Its a mini but powerful u need a 5.1 home theatre and connect it with laptop or your smart TV optical out its gives a 5.1 surround sound .Excellent performance , I am happy with this product.

OK product. Sound quality is not good. Overpriced.
There is a disturbance noise in the soundIt is very much overpriced for what it is it should have cost less than 1k Rs.Overall it is fine to connect laptop with home theater system
