Effective no-frills portable second monitor
I just needed a 2nd portable monitor to take with me when I travel (which is quite often) and this serves that purpose well. It could definitely be brighter (make sure you switch on DCR mode on the menu to make it as bright as possible), and the built menu controlled by the side buttons is a little frustrating to use. The sound is an OK volume but the quality is a little worse than my laptop speaker, but I didn't buy this with the intention of using the built in speaker. The real sell for me was being able to plug in peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard, so that I could keep the USB ports on my laptop free. It worked perfectly connecting it to the laptop via USB-C and I don't think it required any extra setup. It came with many cables in the box, including 2 mini-usb to USB adaptors to plug in the peripherals and a few variations on USBC/A/HDMI etc - basically every variation of setup you could need and a lot more than I was expecting. I've been using it for a few months now and overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Took a chance
Brilliant. Previously ordered another brand and it was terrible with dropped pixels so thought I'd take a chance on this oneI'd never heard of. Turned out to be great.Update: After 2 uses the micro hdmi input has started to fail and if the wire moves the screen goes off and white areas have appeared on the side of the screen.

Worked ok before it died
Very fragile, which is definitely not something you want to see in a portable monitor. Waste of money.

Died after 6 months
Reasonable monitor for the price, but died after 5 months - blue light comes on, screen is black.
