Beautiful deck!
This deck is gorgeous. It's not like the other Wizard's Tarot by Corrine Kenner and John J. Blumen, so don't get the two confused. This is a completely different deck. It's still in the Rider-Waite style, just more updated. They've taken some influences from modern culture. (TV shows, literature, etc) It's not too distracting though. The artwork is amazing. And the cards are easy to read and flow together well. Card stalk is typical Llewelyn though. The book is hefty and FULL color. Each card has a full page image without any labels over it, as well as a page of info about it. (Yes, even the minors!) The info over all is typical for a book with tarot cards. (Regular size, not LWB info) But would definitely be useful for beginners. Barbara Moore wrote it, so it's not bad. Just not 'new' really. There are a couple new spreads at the end. Was nice to see an added chapter about the magical path. Really good intro book over all! If I had to say anything negative it would be the card stock... I've had it since Feb. 18th 2020. So, about 3 weeks. And I've already chipped it in a few places. Other than that, it's a great deck.

Great Balance of Masculine and Feminine Energies
I love this tarot deck! The artwork has the characteristics of both strength and beauty. It's nice to see such unique depictions of men in a tarot deck, especially this guy in the Nine of Cups (The center card in my picture). He's my favorite. Nine of Cups is typically a woman in most RWS decks. While this deck does generally follow the RWS, it also holds some unique variations that allow for some different interpretations. Note the absence of a person in the Justice card and the demon's head wrapped in a bubble in the Six of Wands card. This deck is great for beginners and more advanced readers. I've found the different take on traditional RWS themes refreshing and interesting to both me and my clients. The cardstock is light to average, which makes the deck easy to shuffle. The book is stunning! It's filled with a large colorized image of each card and information about each card. My only complaint about the book is that the font is rather tiny. However, reading glasses solved that problem.

Stunning!
As a professional reader, I look for decks with amazing artwork, and The Wizard's Tarot doesn't disappoint. The boxed set is well packaged, sturdy, and breathtaking—and, the companion book is classy and polished. In fact, I couldn't believe the quality for the price! But, the main thing for me? The size of the cards—after I was done gasping at the beautiful artwork in the book, I took out the cards, thrilled to see they're perfect for small hands! The card stock is flexible, perfect for a good riffle/bridge shuffle—a major point for me. The individual cards don't have borders, and I like the simplicity. I received them only this morning, and I already laid out a Celtic Cross spread—easy to read, and the subliminal intuitive prompts are great! The companion book is geared for seasoned readers as well as beginners—a great boxed set for learning! Overall, a solid 5 stars!

Wizards, magic, and dragons, oh my!
First off, I would like to say the artwork in this deck is gorgeous. The art really puts me into the mindset I am in a magical school waiting to learn my next lesson or possibly tame the next dragon. My favorite of the cards is the Wheel of Fortune, the vibrancy of it draws me in. It is a shame there isn't diversity in the people, the characters being portrayed in these cards. It would have added even more to the magical experience of the world created in this deck. I have been a fan of Barbara Moore for a very long time and I have enjoyed the companion book as well. Sadly, the book fell apart on me the same day I opened it. The glue might have not held the book enough and it separated from the cover. This doesn't change how much I have enjoyed using the deck or read the book, though. I even added colored edging for the first time to any of my decks. All in all, if you are a fan of traditional Llewellyn decks you will enjoy this one, too. If you like magical elements and vibrant art, you will enjoy this deck. If you want representation in the characters portrayed within the deck, this deck might not be for you. Thanks for reading my review! Sending loving vibes everyone's way.

Beautiful cards, the guidebook will need glue
Cards came perfectly & just as pictured. Card stock is on the thinner side that I've seen compared to other decks but the artwork makes up for it. My guidebook did detach from the cover but I superglued the spine back and it's good as new (and it will probably never come loose again lol). Descriptions of said cards are pretty accurate to the deck & it has reversal meanings aswell. Although the deck has all the elements included in the artwork, I got very strong wand/fire vibes from the deck. I didn't connect with them but I regifted to my sis & she loves them. Would recommend
