Definitely prevents dropped objects
This lanyard is easy to install onto your tool. I have it on a tape measure. Fell of my belt clip while ip about 100’ on a stairwell on an oil rig. The lanyard kept it right near me and prevented a dropped object. Easy to uncoil if it gets tangled up with itself. I’d recommend.

This is great for my crescent wrench. the coiled plastic means that the lanyard doesnt hang down off my belt, so it doesnt get caught on things.

Doubles as Cord Management
This review is for the office workers who are freezing all the time and have electric blankets at their desk. If your sick and tired of your chair rolling over the blanket cord, you need this product! It works perfect for suspending my electric blanket cord off the ground, while allowing enough slack for me to roll around. 10/10 wish I had done this sooner.
