An American car built in Canada
Part was made in China, really, can't we build anything here anymore? This is messed up....Got it installed and charged up and so far it working fine. The old one has a sticker Made in Canada. That one was put on the car in when assembled on Sept. 27, 2010. The original was rusted out on the bottom.

Perfect fit!
I highly recommend OEM Ford Motorcraft part's whenever possible! I replaced my leaky original accumulater myself, purchased this Motorcraft accumulater without hesitation. Yes you can buy an aftermarket one for alot less, but I recommend OEM especially on ford's. This went on my 2010 Ford crown victoria P7B.

If you drive an 03/04 crown vic/grand marquis please read
Please be aware of the way the AC switch is mounted on your accumlator/dryer (black canister that stores refrigerant). This matters because you will have to go an extra step in replacing the dryer if your canister is rotted out and the freon is drained out and you seek an OEM replacement. Both types will BOTH work, its the matter of Some Crown Vics and Grand Marquis have a dryer where the connector is running straight up of the canister (pointing to the sky) and some have the canister where the switch is actually pointing towards the engine (this is called the 90 degree "elbow") and this part pictured is the elbow connector assembly. My car had a connector which pointed to the sky and the size of the thread on the new part I replaced it with was different. The AC clutch switch I had to aquire was Murray PN: 20957 to run my two prong connector and screw into this new dryer. Please inspect your defective part and try to match the nipple on the dryer, it will save you some money if you dont have the 90 degree elbow from the get go then you want Motorcraft YF3357.Also, the new part has brackets that are thicker than original, so you will need 3 of M8 1.25x30 bolts to give you enough length to actually mount back to the frame of the vehicle. You probably have some baby bolts and you tried to put them in and they didnt work. They are too short for the replacement part.

Good but the small plastic hole at the bottom gets clogged
Make sure to cut the hole to be bigger at the bottom of the tank. itll clog with debris and thatll cause the same issue that broke the thing in the first place

Worked Well on my '05 Crown Vic
This part is an exact replacement for the accumulator on my 2005 Crown Victoria; the original had rusted, causing the system to discharge. This unit comes with the plastic cover installed and an appropriate o-ring on the port for the pressure switch. Although a bit more than most aftermarket accumulators, this more complete assembly made the job go quicker and easier.
