Wolo 808-C Universal Replacement for Air Horn Compressor, 12 Volt

The pump works properly, but it's not very powerful. I have dual horns and the pump never builds enough pressure to blow them. It's probably fine for a single horn, but the motor isn't powerful enough to drive the pump to full speed. It just runs slowly and doesn't build pressure. -EDIT- I was powering it on my test bench from a 12 volt power supply. Even though it was 15 Amps, it wasn't enough. Connected in my truck, the pump is STRONG!!!! Works great!!!

A great replacement for a broken or seized compressor. Blows my Wolo long horns with ease, and it’s a touch louder than the compressor they came with. Be mindful, this guy is kind of heavy so mount it appropriately. Will update if it fails, I know these kinds of reviews are hard to come by.

this one was a dud. it was unable to make the trumpet horn work. too much aggravation to return it ,i will just take it to the dump.

This on demand compressor works much better than most brands included on demand compressors, is an easy replacement for any of those brands that fail you over time and will make your horn even louder!

In this topsy, turvy world this is a great product. What I mean is that once I figured out that they wired it backwards it works great. The old pump on my horns was getting tired. Embarrassing to hit the horn and your truck sounds like a cartoon tug boat. New pump is a few psi more so now it wakes up the neighborhood again. I just can't give a 5pt review, as how does the plus wire become minus and the minus become plus?

I was buying cheap 12V compressors every year it seemed like. (Yeah, I honk the horn a lot....) So, when I saw that this one was "High Compression" I bought TWO! It was OK. Nothing special. Got a new vehicle so the old one (and its horn) didn't get used much. Found a use for it so I started driving again and the horn compressor was weak. No prob. I have one on the shelf! Put it in and it didn't even honk the horn. Tested the horn, replace the hose, and nothing. Bought a CHEAP compressor that would arrive the next morning and it works great. The point is, these compressors seem to have a lifespan of about 2 years whether they get used or not..... Definitely not high compression Pretty disappointed....

The compressor is Awesome on a 3 trumpet train horn more than powerful enough this should last for years love it and several months later still doing great and working in -35 degrees

The manufacturer no longer had a replacement of the original air pump for the air horns on my my boat. The pump they now had was very expensive. I went to Amazon and looked for a replacement unit I could use. I was surprised to find this unit, which looked to be very close to resembling the original unit and was very reasonably priced. The first unit they sent me was badly damaged in shipping. I contacted Amazon and they promptly had another unit sent. That one was received in good condition and has functioned well. I would recommend this supplier and would do business with them again.

Not enough air pressure for my air horns. But was the only 12 volt pump on Amazon that said what PSI it pushed out.

Amazing replacement for a worn out air compressor. The truck horn I have really works well with it. I am really pleased.

This does not perform at all, purchased a $20 from amazon that works better!
