Lights of America 9011
I hate these lights. We do the lighting maintenance on a large condo property that has over 400 of these. They are cheaply made, sealed plastic. When one quits working, if replacing the bulb doesn't work, you have to replace the whole light. There is nothing to open up and repair. Inside is a little circuit board. Some last years, the newer ones not so much. The light it puts out is great. The bulbs last a long time. Walmart has the bulbs for half Home Depot's price. HD no longer carries this light, so I have to order online. I found them cheapest on Amazon.com. Really fast delivery. I will continue to order more through them.

Bargain Brightness - Made in USA !!
I bought the new Lights Of America 9011 to replace the one that's been turned on for 16 years with only TWO (2) bulb replacements. A tiny resistor on the PCboard finally burned out. During those 16 years, my wife and I have enjoyed having the brightest-lit area in the entire neighborhood -- for about $0.75 per month in electricity cost -- about one-fifth of an equal incandescent light. We were so pleased with the appearance, performance, and maintenance costs of our LOA 9011 fixtures that replacing the 16-year-old one with another one just like it was an absolute no-brainer !! The LOA 9011 attaches easily to existing mounting brackets (or use included hardware), is easy to clean (like all outdoor light fixtures, they get tiny bugs inside), and the body is made of a durable white plastic with an easily-removable, semi-frosted lens -- the 27-Watt-Bulb puts out the light equivalent of a 100-watt incandescent bulb -- PLENTY of light, but very little glare !! To get MAXIMUM life from your expensive flourescent bulbs, CAREFULLY wipe them clean with a plain paper towel dipped in 95% Alcohol (Safeway, Walgreen's) BEFORE you install them. For maximum bulb life, DO NOT touch the bulbs with your bare hands!! Good Luck !! UPDATE: August 9, 2015 -- 6 years of bright-light service with no bulb replacement on one of the units, and 3 years of no-replacement service on another unit. These lights put out a plenty of bright white light, and neighbors have asked me where they could get them. I recommend Amazon for their availability, low price, and speedy delivery.

Works great
A proven good product. Lights area up when placed eight to twelve feet above ground. But not a great light when place 20 feet over head, hard to see area well. Just much dimmer

I wouldn't buy another
I purchased this exact model light from my local big box store about 5 years ago to use in the entryway to my office. When it died I went to purchase another one, which the store no longer carried. I decided before I replaced it with something else I would check online. Here it was for sale at Amazon, so I ordered it. When it came I didn't have time to install it so I put it on the shelf for a later date. Several months went by and I forgot about it. When I finally did remember and decided to install it I was disappointed to find the metal casing is about as flimsy as an empty soda can. I decided since it was too late to return it I would just carefully install it, figuring it would last about as long as the previous one. I was wrong. About two weeks after installing it the light sensor that controls the dusk to dawn function failed, and the light never shut off. Fortunately there is a switch for this light that usually just stayed on all the time since the light would turn off during the day. Now I have to turn it on when I leave and off when I get there, not really a big deal but now it is on all day on days I'm not there. The light is just as bright as the previous one, which is more important to me than dusk to dawn operation, so as long as it is up and turns on I will keep it there, but when it does finally fail I will not buy another.

At least it works
Some things to consider. This light is made as cheaply as possible. The plastic is pretty flimsy and flexes very easily. I feared breaking the lamp fixture by trying to remove the bulb. The light is bright but it casts it almost everywhere I didn't need it. The light is thrown horizontally and some of it vertically, so a lot of the brightness is wasted if you want to illuminate the immediate area below or around it. It may work fine as a porch light where you're looking out from behind the lamp, but as area lighting, I would suggest you stick with a flood light for better control. On the bright side, I bought 3 and none was DOA.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.
I would give this zero stars if I could. I purchased it to replace a similar lamp at my home that stopped working. It had been there since I moved in over a year ago so I figured it couldn't be that bad. I couldn't have been more wrong! It lasted less than a month. I replaced it again, thinking maybe it was just a faulty unit... The second one lasted 2 days. These are complete crap and Amazon has been extremely unhelpful to me through this whole process. Don't waste your time or your money.
