Lily Sugar 'N Cream The Original Solid Yarn, 2.5oz, Medium 4 Gauge, 100% Cotton - Wine - Machine Wash & Dry

I used this yarn for the first time to knit some washcloths and dishcloths for stocking stuffers, and it was perfect for that. I used a size 6 needle and was really happy with the results. The yarn is pretty, strong, and knot-free.

The colors are gorgeous, and 100% cotton is necessary to make potholders, so this skein will be used for holiday gifts once I find a pattern I like. Or perhaps my inner Grinch will show up and I'll keep all of them for myself. Either way, a good product at a decent price.

A very cute yarn! It is cotton so it has its usual stiffness that comes with cotton yarns. Worked well for some holiday decor I was making. One thing to note is that this yarn gives the look of a white background with red and green colors added. So if you were looking for heavy red or heavy green, try another yarn. If you like more of a white background, this is a great yarn for your project!

The yarn is easy to work with, soft, and the color is very nice. One thing to note though is that the color can vary a decent amount between dye lots. I had initially only ordered one skein, not knowing how much yarn I would need for this project and also misreading the length. The first skein looks like it has varying shades of maroons and reds rather than browns while the two skeins I ordered later vary between greenish browns and reddish browns. It's not a huge deal, since this is a personal project and not something I need to be perfect, and I knew to expect color variations when I had to order again, but something to keep in mind when ordering.

I have purchased this product more than once to make washcloths and children's sweaters. The colors seems to hold up well. The yarn is pleasant to work. It is just the right weight for many uses and is soft yet durable. I found it easy to purchase and use, and would definitely buy it again as it provides great value for the cost. I recommend washing knit and crocheted items in cold water then drying flat to avoid shrinkage.

El color es muy bonito y queda genial al trabajarlo, el problema es que la "lana" queda muy tiesa, y que el ovillo es diminuto. He pedido dos y me ha dado para un par de mitones por los pelos. En definitiva, el precio es elevado para la cantidad y la calidad que ofrece.
