Mini Torx Precision Screwdriver Set

If you're a DIY'er looking to fix misbehaving android phones, tablets and the like, you NEED this screwdriver set (and a set of decent pry tools). This set has a rigid extension and a flexible one, you get teensy little sockets and a boatload of miniature bits including slotted and Phillips, Torx and hex bits, a triangle bit, a tri-wing bit, and what appears to be a pentalobe bit, but you'd need a microscope to know for sure. The set comes in a pretty cool case; when the lid is closed the rows of bits sit at a 45 degree angle, when opened the rows straighten to 90 degrees. There is a handy hanger tab on the back of the case so it can be hung up on a pegboard. I decided to order this set so I could fix my phone and then figured I'd try to repair two dead kindle fires and a lenovo tablet. Ordered a couple of parts off ebay and had the fire hdx fixed in half an hour without soldering. Yea me!. The other two need charging ports re-soldered, so have to get a very small tip & some magnification before that can happen. All in all I was pleased with the quality of precision screwdriver set and believe that as long it is used as it was designed to be, you will be happy to have it around to help fix all sorts of little problems.

I have had other many fastener driver kits before. While they functioned ok, the storage case would completely fall apart before too long. I would usually need to put a rubber band around it to keep the lid on. With that being said, this product has excellent attention to detail in that the case is rugged, well hinged and overall just well designed. Additionally, the latch is very firm and it has a flip up tab in the back for hanging on a nail or peg. The fact that It is orange helps me locate it among my other tools. The tools are of high quality for the price. The bits are magnetized, which I like. This is particularly helpful with really small fasteners. It is a quality product in every way, at a great price. Now that almost all electronics are miniaturized, this affordable set should cover nearly every need to work on electronics.

For the price, I love having this kit in my desk drawer. The container is actually robust and the screwdriver doesn't feel cheap. Great kit for a desk or workbench

Update Aug 2021 - 4 star: After using the screwdriver set for several more months, I feel obligated to update its rating from original 2 star to 4 star. The bits are weak, but more than 90 percent of usage is within the capacity of these bits. This has been my goto tool for most daily needs. Now I know what they are not good for and no more complaints! Original review -- 2 star: This tool box is very comprehensive for various types of jobs. A lot of bits, driver and connectors are convenient to use. The box looks fancy and I didn't experience any issue opening and closing. Why 2 stars then? The bits do look like not for real usages. They are so soft that a little stress would damage them. See the photo attached to see how it looks after trying to tighten up the sprinkler heads. Overall it is for work that is super lightweight and it can be an excellent tool if that is what you plan for.

I keep this little screwdriver set in my tool chest. It isn't something I use very often, but when I need a small bit for that pain in the butt projects, this thing is my "go to". Sometimes you will find electronics you want to repair, restore, etc., and they have those pesky security screws. This set works great for those projects. Cost effective and doesn't take up much space at all.

I have many tools and sets of larger screwdrivers with changeable bits, but I needed a specific small Tork bit to work on my laptop. I found a single Tork screwdriver that met my needs on Amazon but then I saw this set that had what I needed and much much more. Plus, the cost was only about $5 more than the cost if the single driver. The handle in this kit has an anti-slip function and a rotating cap plus a magnetic socket to hold the bits and those features were a plus for me. The only negative for me was that while they included a small Phillips bit, I would have liked to have had a slightly larger one included. However, since I got this, I have found several other uses for this set, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was in the market for a small tool set for working on micro electronics and computers. I found this one and decided it met my needs. It arrived on time and in good condition, when I went to open it I discovered that it had a neat spring loaded mechanism for displaying the bits and opening the case. The bits themselves are all of decently high-quality and the driver that comes with it is slightly magnetized to prevent any of your screws or other small pieces from being lost unnecessarily (you can still lose them if you’re a butterfingers like me, but the driver tries to help you). Overall I think the tool set is a great value for the money. I find myself wishing it had more bits, but the ones that it does have a very good in there it has a wide range of specialty or unique bits. You could do a lot worse than this kit.

Well, I have read some of the negative reviews of this set of bits but my set appears to be of quite good quality. The magnetic feature works well, the case is sturdy and functional and it has a good variety of bits. I suppose the ultimate judgement will be after a few years of use but for now, it’s a good set at a good price.

Perfect, missing some bigger bits for around the house use but I wasn't expecting that because I bought this kid to open up my laptop to replace the hard drive because the damn computer has these screws that no one has but this kit had the perfect screw bit, also the cover is spring loaded ish and it's extremely satisfying to see the bits move back and forth as the cap opens and closes

I find this to be an amazing kit, has everything you can ever want, is built well in quality, I love the box they put it in. Also it is quite easy to use all the parts and the magnetism is pretty strong. Thank you =)

After a few quick repairs this week, bits seem to be in excellent condition still. The handle is comfy to work with, and nothing fell out of it's display slot! Overall, a fairly solid bargain tool with a variety of uses and a sleek design.

I'm an electronic technician who has been repairing electronic equipment (mainly computers) for over 18 years now. I bought this set even though I own the iFixit 64 bit for several reasons. The Showpin was 1/3 the price for starters but I feel is almost of equivalent value. Mainly it's the size, it's just a little larger and with the rubber grip is way more comfortable in the hand which is important if used frequently. One thing I find extremely useful is the extension piece which makes the Showpin the ideal length and size for most repair situations, more so I find than the iFixit. I'd have to say the Showpin is my favorite to use among all the screwdrivers or nut drivers I own and I think it looks pretty cool too! I can't comment however on the durability because I have not owned this set long enough to give a fair assessment.

As described with MOST of the useful bits you may need for specialty screws ( except for old retro game boy styles) 2 extenders, 1 of which is flexible and came as a NICE surprise as i didn't think it was when i purchased although it is a welcome addition took 1 star because alot of these sets always seem to forget the old Game boy styles screws and never included the bits. Other than thought i will be testing and reporting later to how well these old up to a bit of stress/use P.S. For those wondering the T Bits (Torx) are in fact security torx with the hole in center. Always nice to see those as again most usually wont have that particular feature UPDATE!!!!! Upon closer inspection of the kit i came to realize that the tray that hold everything together is already broken!! right out of the box!!Luckily each bit is labeled so if it does eventually completely fall apart i know what each bit is still, but still rather irritating to be frank...None the less its not worth it to send back for a replacement as ill just be out more money for shipping the darn thing out... which is not reimbursed.. NOTE!! A lil bit of E6000 glue to cement everything back in place and its ALMOST good as new... hopefully this will help hold everything in place so i can continue using this helpful lil case without having to find something new and have all the bits lose in a box or something
