Panasonic Link2Cell KX-TGE274S 4-Handset 1-Line Bluetooth Enabled Cordless Phone, Silver (Renewed)

Just received this set of four cordless Panasonic phones through Amazon. I have gone through the initial set up and have all 4 stationed throughout the house. Basic set up to get functional was easy, just plug in and charge batteries, hook up base to phone line and electronicly register each phone to base. Sound quality is excellent ( for my hard of hearing ears) buttons and screen are large and easy to read, Multitude of features I am still planning on using, but having no fears as instruction booklet is complete and easy to understand. I bought this set as it was certified reconditioned - came in shrink pack rather than boxes ( I like that, save the planet) but looks brand new. Saved a lot over a new purchase but for about $6 i got the 3 yr extended warranty. So for less than the brand new unit, I got a new unit with a longer warranty. Much better quality than my old V tech and Motorola DECT units, plus I can now link my cell phones to it and answer my cell from these phones.

Love these phones. Got them to replace my v-tech system. Pros: 1. Phone book programmed into all phones at once 2. Ringer selection 3. Call blocking from phone instead of phone company (for those annoying robo calls and telemarketers who call despite being on the don't call list) 4. Speaker phone ability for each handset (this is a life saver when I have things to do around the house, that require two hands, and I am on hold for 5 minutes or more) 5. Intercom, so I'm not screaming for my kids anymore to come down to dinner 6. Bluetooth ability for my cellphone at home. Let's me know when I get calls or texts when I leave my cell in another room or it's on silent Cons: 1. Not realizing and being able to program which handset is located where. You'll have to remember the # for each handset and where is placed to get the right person using the intercom. (Honestly the only issue I have with the phones so far.) 2. Refurbished- one of the phones had a large scratch on the dial pad area when I received it. (However it's refurbished so, you get what you paid for.) I have had the phones about a week and a half, so far so good. The first con is not really a con, just suggestions the company should think about. Especially for people who buy them for office use. Would be much easier to program coworkers name or location instead of remembering the number.

Was quite surprised at the exceptional condition of the refurbished Panasonic Link2Cell purchase when it arrived as promised. We got a great deal on the phone system which we selected after reading web reviews of the top 5 recommended bluetooth home phones in 2016. It was only after spending a few hours shopping around at the usual electronic outlets and not really getting anywhere, did we decide to check out Amazon's availability. To our surprise not only did they stock the model we were looking for but also whether we want a 2, 3 or 4 piece system. Also they had new or refurbished units. Thanks Amazon, we are very happy campers.

the answering machine stopped working, and nothing I do makes it start working again. I am considering returning it if I can not get it to work.

I got this set of phones and when they came there was a not enclosed that said the phones were reconditioned. One phone has a buzzing sound and is not useable. The rest of it is fine. I couldn’t be bothered sending them back.

This product replaced an old Panasonic phone system. When I held the new handsets, I realized that they were light and flimsy, not at all robust enough to make me feel as though they are sturdy for every day use. Everything charged well on the first night and they are installed today. They work well, I just feel as though I have to make sure they never drop because they feel as though they'd shatter into a million pieces.

I’ve had them for a few years now. They’ve been great. I chose them because it has Bluetooth and I was hoping my cell phone would run through it. And IT DOES! Now I can talk on my cell number using any of these phones and I get BETTER service. I had poor reception in our home on my cell. Bonus- couldn’t beat the price! Been very happy

Very, very nice set. So far they work beautifully. They have much more to offer than I have time to program into each one of them, individually. You cannot program the main one and expect the rest to follow. Each one of the little buddies likes it's own one on one time with you. That can get a bit challenging. I do believe the set will work forever, it has that kind of feel about it. But I've still to discover the 'blue tooth' abilities it offers. Along with so many other extra's. I am a fan of refurbished new electronic items. I have never gone wrong purchasing an item that has gone through refurbishing. Checked top to bottom and double checked to be 'perfect' by a company that strives to be the best in it's class. I've never received a lemon, not once. Only reason I gave this incredible system 4 stars instead of 5 is I think it will take me a year to discover how everything works, Bluetooth included!
