TExES Science 7-12 (236) Flashcard Study System: TExES Test Practice Questions & Review for the Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (Cards)

I am impressed with the directions and accessibility to this study system. I highly recommend this product!

I was shocked at how much information is crammed onto each card. I was expecting cards that had a sentence or two and a simple explanation on the back, which would make studying easy. The set came on sheets that I had to divide and that was time consuming. I have been spending an hour or so each day for the last few weeks breaking the content down onto better organized handmade flash cards that will be usable; at this rate, I’ll be finished with that project in maybe a year. They don’t come with a box or anything to store them in, so pop-tart box it is.

If you're in a bit of a rush to get essential knowledge in for your upcoming TExES test, then these are not the cards for you. While these cards provide a pretty good summary about the domains and competencies that you can expect on the test, they do not do so in a readily fast-paced way. Truth be told, however, when it comes to the TExES (236), there is no quick way to study. This item gets three stars because the content that it emphasizes is not immediately relevant to what's on the test. Furthermore, there are quite a bit amount of typos on the cards that can detract from studying.

Great study tool for anybody who needs help. Along with the online practice test and competency breakdowns on the TExES website in addition to the YouTube videos, these flash cards help you study and give great explanations that are easy to follow and understand.The flash cards come in a convenient size so you can take them wherever you go. It also gives you enough room to make notes on them, and they are sectioned off by subject (Chemistry, Physics, etc...) so you can sort them and study one subject at a time.

The flash cards are full of information, which is awesome. I think there is too much on each car. They are overwhelming. However, I had to tear them apart myself, which was not cool.

I really enjoy the products. The products really help me study and also provide a link to check out on youtube.

Not great. I expected a box of cards with simple ask and answer. Instead, I had to tear them all apart and there is way to much writing on one side. Not too happy.
