Looking for the best fly trap? Look no further....
If your kitchen has been bombarded by hundreds of flies and you are ready to put your head into your garbage disposer because the critters have completely taken over the entire area and your frustration level is off the charts, RELAX and set out these sticky traps. Then breathe in and breathe out, remembering to keep your mouth closed; the fruit flies here were so plentiful that if my mouth had been open, they would have flown right in. Well, within four hours of setting out the sticky trap, there were so many fly carcasses on the sticky surface that it looked quite dark. Clean-up was a breeze – just put the entire trap into an old bag, toss it into the trash and enjoy your clean space. Ahhh; that was so easy!! (Note: The flies in my kitchen were fruitf flies, but I think these traps will work on regular flies as well. The JT Eaton traps work better than the cumberson electric blue-light devices.)

catching flies!
took about a week and its now catching some flies. wish there was an area on top that would allow it to hang. glue is exposed on only one side so it doesn't stick to the window.

It simply does not trap flies
The design is good in terms of it's shape, the sticky part is mostly protected by plastic and you can set it on your counter. Problem, it does not trap flies. Not one after two weeks. It came with a hormone to sprinkle on the sticky tube but when I did, the little beads rolled right off. So bottom line, doesn't work.

Best Fly Stick!
Typically I would't spend money on fly traps, they never seemed to attract any flies and seem to be a waste of money. Where I live, we eat outdoors a lot and have a lot of open doors and windows so when flies come around it can be a pain to have to swat or shoo them away. I randomly purchased a JT Eaton Fly Stick and was surprised to see that the flies were actually attracted to the stick. To the point that we'd sit around the table outside and watching the flies get stuck for entertainment (gross I know). Of course the down side is the stick should be placed somewhere near the food that attracts the flies - not appetizing but I'd rather see the flies on the stick than on the food. I've noticed that fruit flies and gnats will get stuck to it as well. If you don't mind leaving out a fly stick with lots of dead flies on it, these sticks can last a while. The flies don't seem to be deterred by other dead bugs stuck on the stick. It's super sticky, so anything that touches it will get seriously stuck. If there aren't a lot of flies around, I'll catch the one or two bothering me, then put the stick back in the box until there's another pest flying around. Thanks JT Eaton - love your products! Totally worth it!

I didn't try it long enough to know if its effective
I tried to use it indoor. I didn't try it long enough to know if its effective. Now, as the weather is cooling off, I may not use it till next year.

Very Effective
Mid-summer, I had an unusual number of flies in the house and basement. A friend recommended this product. I bought two and found it worked like a charm. The main part of the house cleared quickly and the basement saw an immediate improvement. I was stunned by the amount of flies and gnats it caught. The basement door if frequently left open so the flies continue to enter but the trap takes care of them. Placement of the traps seems to be a key element here. Put them where you see the most. It’s not very complicated. It took a day or two to start attracting them but it works.

Leaves no mess
I will be buying more of these. They land on it and can't get off

Not worth it
This product is not worth the money and doesn’t work as well as advertised. The flies outside my front door are horrible. Flies get in the house quite a bit so I decided to try it inside first. Never caught one fly. I put it out side and caught a few flies over a long period of time. I saw some reviews that mentioned some blue crystals that came with the product to sprinkle on it to attract the flies. There was no blue crystal in my packaging. For $8 I really don’t think I got my monies worth. Would not recommend.
